I just realized women are able to analyze the holy book. This shows great equality that exists between man and woman under IR. What I can't understand is why "highly educated" pro-IR entities need these mullahs? Don't they ever listen to what these backward jerks are telling people! Also, when you pray in public like that, don't you think other male strangers may pass by? The two guys holding the piece of cloth looked ludicrous. Great video, Ms. Bakhtiary. Thank you, Fred!

اینجا داره مقداری مغلطه میشه. یعنی چی ، یعنی اینکه:

ا ) اکثریت قریب به اتفاق برنامه های تلویزیونی لس انجلس سطحی ، غیر-حرفه ای، نازل و در قرابت مستهجن میباشند ( سوای یکی، دو ، انگشت شماری مورد استثنایی ، که این خود قائده را اثبات میکند) پس سوای اینکه چه کسی ( مدیری یا هر کس دیگر ) توجه ما را بدین سطح نازل فرهنگی معطوف میکند، حقیقت پرت بودن و بی ربط بودن "تهرانجلس " واقعیتی عام میباشد.

ب) مجاورت و پهلوی هم گذاری صحنه هایی از برنامه مدیری همراه با "ترشحات " روحانیون، شاید این پرسش را برای بیننده مطرح کند که : بین این دو مستهجنات: " نژاد پاک آریایی" پرت ال.ا. و ضحاکان حاکم بر جان و مال مردم، واقعا با یک دیگر قابل مقایسه هستند. که البته نه.

ج) مدیری هنرمندی پر استعداد، و خلاق است. بجای گیر دادن و برخوردهای سیخکی، مقداری اذعان به توانایی هایی طرف چندان هم بد نیست.

د) زین سان همی شمار که زین سانم آرزوست.

The biggest problem with LA TV's is that for the most part the biggest losers within Iranian Immigrant community are attracted to these low budget operatios, producing terrible programing.   Just compare them to VOA's Parazit and how it has grown from a show created by two talented kids.

That depends on what kind of news they are disseminating!! Look their Job is to produce and broadcast the news. What do expect them to do??? I agree that their news hour is not the most productive and informative one that is out there, But that is the kinds of news they'd rather people know about, I guess You will always have the option to Not listen.

How The society such as ours in iran should deal with IRI is not within the scope of their occupation! it is not in their Job description, But in all fairness, right in the thick of all the events in 2009 Holakouee himself, more than once analysed what had been happenning in iran by himself and for and along with some of the callers. Again,. what do you expect him to say? Do you want him to Give out instructions or something??? In a way he is dealing with all those issues at the same time, In his way, In a way a doctor a socialogist deals with them.

First let me clarify - I did not say losers are attracted to sattelite TV's - I said losers are on them.   There are ex bad actors, belly dancers, bad singers, laid off real estate and mortgage brokers .....all posing as political activists.....!!

As for Pars TV news - they started the news today with the latest Ahmadinejad comments......... please note that they dessiminate IR propaganda whether ridiculing it or not - and for the most part they don't even ridicule it. 

As for Holakoui - Yes he does provide some free advice on personal or family matters - but let me ask you:  Have you ever heared him or any other TV psycho analysts even attempt to address social psycological issues such as how a society should deal with having IR as government?  Have you ever heared him tell our youth on how to deal with the social pressures IR puts on them causing over 40 to committ suicide every day in Tehran alone?   How about psychy of first generation immigrants........Yes he does provide some useful yet pointed personal advice expandable to some of the population - but nothing of significance.

I am not sure When was the last time  you watched The Pars news and what made you think They are repeating everything IRIB reports. Far from it. Had you paid any attention and i am not defending them or IRIB or anyone else for that matter, you would have noticed the Obvious and in-your-face rediculing and facetiousness that was associated with every news item they reported.

On The "biggest loser" part being attracted to these programs, well, I don't know and i am not sure how i should Interpret that hateful and condescending attitude.

The Point that you and perhaps so many others are not so keen on , Is that You don't seem to understand the mission of each of these programs and it really is not sane or Ok to set parazit as a role model and as the gold standard for them to look up to or to measure their performances By.

Do you deny that for instance Dr. Holakouee is not benefitting all iranians with his knowledge and Guidance?

Personaly I consider LA Tv's more of political deterants than helping any political cause.   Some of them are even complete sell-outs working directly or indirectly towards IR agenda.   Next time you get the chance listen to Pars TV news - it is for the most parts a repeat of IRIB news!!!!  It is as if they want to make sure everything AN or Khamenei says in Iran is dessiminated to all of us outside Iran.   I do however consider these TV's a positive in the cultural war against IR - they have been effective in making sure Arabification of our culture is defeated.

Granted the Los Angeles based televisions leave a lot to be desired, however, looking at them as a mass communication devices to be used against the ruling Islamist Rapists they have been effective, hence, at great cost the Islamist Rapists jam their signals.

In this latest effort one of the gofers of the Voice and Visage of the Islamist Rapist Republic has done his part to attack the opposition outlets, and has done it in a typical innately Islamist loutish way, stooping as low as using the “grandmother” bit.

In an effort to not become another Ali-Reza Eftekhari, the “comedian” has tried to pull a fast one with his nonsensical letter the effectiveness of which remains to be seen.

I do however have a question for you.  

IRIB spends $millions to produce propaganda and programs targeted to fool people and stay in power - in fact that is what IR does best.   They also spend a little money to produce artistic or quality programing - just to make sure people tune-in and get exposed to the propaganda.   Now - assuming Modiri produces quality programing (which I don't think he does), is his overall impact beneficial for the people and for Iran?

Programs produced by Modiri have not been $hit, they have been good, so yes, that gives him a right to complain about programs in LA. Mind you that Modiri managed to  have programs in Iran with restrictions that were fun for people and were not Islamic either. However, those in LA with all the freedom and technology and human resources that they have, they have not done well.

Modiri just issued a "Ghalat Kardam" statement - indicating that he never meant for the clips to be released.   He did it out of fear - people can be verbaly and physicaly cruel in Iran!!!   I think the video you posted says it all........how dare a person who works in and for IRIB criticize ANYONE producing TV programing ANYWHERE?!!

Fred, I don't care much for the lines that you have written in this blog. Modiri has had nothing to do with crimes of IRI. Also the TV stations from LA do have stupid programming. You would think that after 30 years, they would manage to have better programs. So to have this video and relate it to Mehran Modiri is to take it to extreme. Yes, Modiri has to be careful about where he goes from here but to act like this video is a response to Modiri is blaming him for IRI crimes.
