ایرج پزشکزاد؛ که متاسفانه عمدتاً برای رمان دائی جان ناپلئون مشهور است تا دیگر آثار بسیار ارزشمندش؛ چندین بار این خاطره را تعریف کرده که شنیده بعضی ایرانیها گفته اند که به دستور انگلیسها دائی جان ناپلئون را نوشته.
کار کار انگلیسهاست؛ هفت خواهران نفتی و شرکتهای چند ملیتی و امپریالیسم استعمارگر استثمار کننده نو و کهنه و صهیونیسم بین الملل و الی آخر...
ایندست حرفها جزئی از باور ملل ستم کشیدۀ خاور میانه؛ خصوصاً در ایرانزمین شده.
بگذارید با خوش باوری این طرز جهان بینی را دربست قبول کرد.
آیا همین است که هست و کاری نمیشود کرد نتیجه منطقی این طرز فکر نمیباشد؟
آیا گام اول برای بدست آوردن آزادی؛ مسئولیت پذیری برای اعمال خود و خودی-کرده نیست؟

Is this call to self examination and self criticism and "self this" and "self that" coming from "the Fred" , the great advocate for foreign interference and foreign intervention? From the master propagandist of the civil world? Is my Fred becoming a "charlatan" like Shariati?
