Great point
by Parham on Wed Nov 09, 2011 11:00 AM PSTas usual, Faramarz. I'd also add to that a deep-rooted Muslim/Islamic upbringing that just won't let them see things as they are, or how they should be.

My take on this group of Iranians is that they have a deeply-rooted hatred of the West, although they have lived here most of their lives but somehow they have not managed to get integrated into the society. This is not such an unusual behavior by the first generation economic immigrants. And they would love to see someone standing up to the West, even if that person is the good old Saddam (remember Halabcheh and Chemical Ali) or Ghaddafi.
Secondly, they actually believe that a theocracy is good for the Iranians back home because freedom and democracy means that Iran will become part of the West and that is not acceptable to them.
And finally there is that whole Arab - Israeli thing that gets them going.
I hope one day Iranians will realize...
by Parham on Wed Nov 09, 2011 07:27 AM PST.... what a bunch of traitors this whole "reformist" camp was made out of... And I hope they find out before it's too late.
They only worry about...

Not Worried About Iran At All!
by G. Rahmanian on Wed Nov 09, 2011 04:01 AM PSTThese "reformists" are more concerned about their own fate than the fate of Iran. They've been talking about reforming the irredeemable IR regime. They're worried if Iran is attacked and the regime falls, they won't be able to take Iran back to the Golden Era of the revolution. They also realize Iranians will not allow another gang of reactionary Islamists replace the current one!
