Jew-hating Iranians

To deny Anti-Semitism is an indivisible part of the Islamist dogma, would be denying the obvious.

It is also hard to deny jew-hating tendency among some non-Islamist Iranians, packing higher education degrees or not.

To ascertain the veracity of the latter observation, one has to only look at instances when the 33 year state of hostility between the sane world and the warmongering Islamists ruling over the enslaved Iranians gets near boiling point.

At those times, which these days is one of them, the number of write-ups, interviews and comments identifying the “Zionists” i.e. Jews, as the instigators and behind the scene “warmongering” puppet masters increases considerably.

The problem is three millennia of shared history and current facts on the ground do not support this contention, which leaves one to surmise the impetus is nothing but deeply ingrained anti-Semitism.

The good news is, many conscientious Iranians who were previously silent observers, are now voicing their dissenting opinions, or, are asking difficult questions from those who have been disguising their anti-Semitic venom wrapped up as nationalistic bravado, anti-war and/or pro-Palestinian activism.

JIRANDOUST

“Case in point is your [Fred} support of MEK …”

If by “support” you mean anything except humanitarian worries over the lives of 3400 mostly elderly Iranians in Camp Ashraf, then obviously you must have some kind of proof for what you allege, please provide it.

where's the beef?

Anti-Semitism

by jirandoust on

Fred,

I have never considered myself an anti-semite. I grew up in part of Iran with a large Jewish population. My best childhood friend all the way to adulthood happened to be of Jewish faith. We are still close friens. I strongly believe that state of Isreal is the best thing ever happened to Iran. Without Isreal, Arabs would have devoured Iran by now. Case in point is Iraq's invasion of Iran in the 80's in which ALL Arab countries from Saudi Arabia to Jordan to Palestine and even Egypt supported Saddam Hussein against Iran.

With all that said I still have issues with you, Fred. My problem with you is that you blindly(?) follow Isrealis policies. Your opposition to IRI is not based on what is good for Iran and Iranians, but what Isreal's policy is at the moment. Case in point is your support of MEK because Isreal thinks any opposition to IRI is good, regardless of who they are or whether they will create a blood bath if they ever come to power in Iran.

Do you see why I ahve a beef with you now, Fred? I think lot of people on this site share the same viwes. Now go ahead and label us as anti-semite.

It's not only in Iran, it's all over the world.............nothing to hide, or deny.........one thing is certain though.....the term "anti-Semitism" has been somewhat over-used and stretched too thin............

The right time is now for the world Jewry in order to become a decent partner in global affairs............Israel has to learn how to live on her own virtues and resources instead of relying on the American tax payers' handouts. Returning to the international borders of pre-67 and signing the NPT is the only way out for the state of Israel....................
