Kudos to Shohreh Aghdashloo

Everyone knows breaking old habits so hard to do. However, there are those who are into imposing their own innate habits on others which when it comes to the sane world, it is no-go from the get-go.
Take for example the new documentary “Iranuim” narrated by the Emmy-award winner Iranian actress Shohreh Aghdashloo. The film, a series of interviews, is about concerns over IRR, the Islamist Rapist Republic bent on “managing the world” getting its hand on nuke weapons to load up on its long-range missiles.
It would not be an exaggerationto to say there are many Iranians as well as non-Iranians who are very concerned about the Iranian men, women and children raping, maiming, stoning and murdering messianic Islamist Rapists succeeding at their attempt in acquiring nuke weapons.
Although IRR and its stormtroopers tried hard to force Canada to ban the public showing of the “Iranium”, going as far as sending threatening letters, to its credit the Canadian government stood firm and officially informed IRR, to take a hike.
Shohreh Aghdashloo rocks as usual. Special kudos to Canada’s Minister of Heritage as well as to the minister of Immigration for facing off the Islamist bullies.

Have you ever wondered why we all call it IR and not IRI?!! It is only the ISlamic Republic - not Iran. Our friend Fred goes as far as calling it IRR - and that is Ok too - he is still waaaaaaaay ahead of you and yours. I strongly promote all attacks of any form on IR not Iran - in fact I pray for the day I am part of that attack.

The islamist govenment first tried to prevent the screening of this film "through Diplomatic channels". Having failed on that, the threathening emails, phone calls and letters started arriving at the office of the organisation planning to show it. I cant wait to watch the movie, even if I have to travel to canada. can anybody recommend good chelo kebab places in Canada who also serve nice shiraz wine?

I watched this interview (posted by Shemirani) live and was disgusted. Just because she is an accomplished actress, it does not mean as Iranians we have an obligation to support her just so we can tell our American friends we have an actress in Hollywood. On the contrary, she has an obligation to be sensitive towards issues of her homeland and the Iranian-American community. This interview was nothing more than a promotional piece at the time of a dire crisis in Iran!

She was one of the first having the opportunity to tell the world iranians wills and hopes but she didn't ! She don't know if iranians wants democracy cause 32 years wasn't enough for her to understand facts :(
i realised she is just a "me me me" actress!! unfortunatly i shouldn't expect more of her ! even if after that she tryed to stand by other artists like a copy cat, it was too late ! le mal était fait !

it) because Ms. Aghdashloo was in it, and I have to say watching her “perform”
was excruciatingly cringe making. The overacting, the accent and the awkward screen
presence... You will see much better actors on day time soap operas.
Why is it that we Iranians think just because something (or someone) is Iranian, its good. She is at best a third rate actor.
I have actually seen
her in real life and she is charming and has a magnetic presence about her, but
she does need to take up elocution lessons and while at it, some acting lessons
too.
Now if you are cynical like me you’d think to yourself, “Hollywood”
is just calling in a favor by asking her to narrate on the documentary, having
given her so many parts she just does not deserve.

Unlike some who have made it big, Aghdashloo puts everything on the line in facing off the murderous Islamist Rapists.
It takes enormous courage, dedication and conviction to agree to act in “Stoning of Soraya M.”, narrate the “Iranium”, or all the other ways she has been doing in standing up to the anti-Iran Islamist Rapists and their stormtroopers.

If she wants to know what saying the right thing is like - I suggest for her to listen to Arash Sobhani (kiosk) interview with Parazit. It is the least she or any of us can do - when we get the chance.
I too used to be a fan of her and Hooshang Tozie - especialy Tozie who has a creative mind, but when he joined the "Tapesh" gang with Amirghassemi and co., I realized he would no longer do or say anything that Bonyad Iman does not approve of.
