Musings of a former chicken

Post-Fukushima and before that, Chernobyl, nuclear disasters, the sane world, where nuclear technology was invented, is racing to disband their nuclear power plants.
At the same time, in the name of “nuclear technology and the nuclear fuel cycle is our absolute right”, the messianic Islamists are racing to fire up their imported, technologically second-rate, with horrendous safety track record.

Those who profess loving Iranians, and because of that, defend their “absolute right” to “peaceful” nuclear technology, happen to be the same people who come up with statements like:

“The crux of the issue about Iran's nuclear program is, in my opinion, as follows: If Iran has the ability to make the bomb on a short notice, it becomes unattackable. That is not something that the US and Israel can tolerate. They want to be the hegemone (sic) of the Middle East.”

Would it be asking too much of these people whose hate for Israel and US is far more than their concern for the plight of Iranian people chafing under the brutal rule of the Islamists, to at least be straight about their intention and motivation?
