In deflecting responsibility from its utter incompetence in managing a modern state during its thirty two years of ruling over Iran and the Iranians, IRR, the Islamist Rapist Republic, blames others, specifically the “Great Satan” aka, the United States.
At every instance of a tragedy, which in IRR occupied Iran are a matter of routine, in addition to the Islamist Rapists, this blame game is usually fanned by the regime gofers and lobbyists as well.
Take the decrepit fleet of flying coffins the Islamist Rapist have been using to ferry Iranians around. Although they claim to possess the scientific and technical knowledge and boast about their “indigenous” manufacturing capabilities to produce advanced “invisible jet fighters”, they fail to maintain the hodgepodge of passenger planes resulting in frequent disasters.
Even though IRR could always purchase brand new Russian manufactured aircrafts, they always opt to lease outdated Russian planes from the former Communist states.
The attached video clip has the American sanctions czar Stuart Levey claiming American government has a program to sell the necessary parts for maintenance of American manufactured civilian aircrafts. The burden of proof is on IRR and its lobbies to provide instances where and when applications have been made and denied for such parts.

by Dirty Angel on Sat Jan 15, 2011 08:38 AM PSTDuh, Dirty Angel, for mixing up posts and posters. Penny's only just dropped, but I'm still not offended. Sargord is just funny. Right, I'd better go and do something useful.

Why Are IR Supporters Bent Out Of Shape!
by G. Rahmanian on Fri Jan 14, 2011 03:34 PM PSTIn a country where a sixteen-year-old makes a nuclear bomb in the basement of her home and its technological advancements have been 11 times larger than those of all other countries put together, why can't they make simple passenger planes? They'd better hurry up and build them passenger planes before all the good Iranian genes are stolen by the west!
Dirty Angel- Are you sure

by Fair on Fri Jan 14, 2011 12:18 PM PSTThe sentence is very clear. The attacks of this person on Iranians is on their core, their identity. It doesn't get more personal and more offensive than that. Such is the nature of fascists and terrorists.
Read and you will understand, Otherwise your mind is indeed boggled.

And you are offended and feel attacked, because of comments that don't define in the slightest what the offence is. According to you.
The mind boggles.

Any blame for "sanctions"
by Roozbeh_Gilani on Fri Jan 14, 2011 11:55 AM PSTShould be put squarely at the doorstep of ahmadinezhad/khamenei double act. These two criminals are the ones who by their irresponsible, criminal and terroristic actions and threats have given excuses to any government from Africa to US, to blame, blockage and boycot Iran and it's people.

Mark as usual
by Cost-of-Progress on Fri Jan 14, 2011 11:30 AM PSTyou are full of it. If you really have a cousin there, he must be part of the problem, i.e., the regime. Perhasp that is why you are so gong ho on this regime...I dunno, I still don't know:
What's your story man?
And as I've told you a bizzilion times: I and thousands of others are here by choice. I can go back anytime, but I won't because I will not work under a regime that has no regard for it speople and identity and I will not ask my family to subject themselves to the tyranny that is your beloved regime.
And you know what I think of your polls, so let's leave it at that.
So, why do you support this regime, for the 25th time?
I've had enough of you and your like. Back to ignoring you.

by SargordPirouz on Fri Jan 14, 2011 10:27 AM PSTBest you did the "cut and run." So get over it already.
My cousins still live in Iran and don't feel the way you do. And according to multiple credible polls, a solid majority of Iranians inside Iran don't share your views, either.
So be content where you are. And leave Iran to those still there and those that aren't anti-Iran.
Death & Rape
by Cost-of-Progress on Fri Jan 14, 2011 11:28 AM PSTare just a few of the "qualities" that this regime of yours Mark has brought the people of Iran. Here 's a few more:
- Incompetence in governance
- Enforcement of 7th century anti-Iranian arab "laws" and the resulting suffocating social atmosphere
- The encouragement of a massive brain-drain
- The so called cultural revolution to rid the universities of any decent and objective ideolgy that does not involve the anticipation of the coming of the Islamic messiah
- Total disregard for country's economic future - Even the Saudis are diversifying their industries to be less dependent on oil
- Zero tolerence for.....anything that does not meet their stamp of approval, social or otherwise
- The prolonging of a devasting war with Iraq and the resulting damage to the people of Iran
- Stockpiling of weapons that in and of itself threatens the future of the country as it provokes other neighboring states to buildup weapons of their own given the mentality and stance of the Islamic regime - This has created a virtual ticking bomb of the entire area
- and the list goes on and on.......

first, my hat off to the American workmanship
by mahmoudg on Fri Jan 14, 2011 08:35 AM PSTAlthough i consider Boeing an extremely unethical company and have proven as well, but i bow to the ingenuity and workmanship of American engineers for having made such products which flies (a misnomer) after all these years. Having said that, credit should also be given when it is due. The Iranian engineers (who were taught by the Americans) have done a good job in keeping these tubs flying. This by no means has to do with the regime. These enginners would do their work whether the Shah, Khomeini, another dictator or a democracy is in place. But everything has a shelf life no matter how many times you put clean parts into them. The actual skin, aka the aluminum tube, on these planes are way beyond their useful life. Iran does not possess the technology or knowhow to replace the body. So it is a matter of time before we hear these planes braking up in midair as well.
