Only few weeks after the seizure of an IRR, the Islamist Rapist Republic originated ship carrying artillery shells destined for the Zaidi Shite rebels fighting the central government in Yemen became public; Saudi Arabia has openly entered the fight on the side of the government.
Ever since the 1979 Iranian revolution Saudi Arabia the custodian of Islam’s holiest sites with its eighteenth century puritanical Wahhabism, a branch of Sunni Islam, has been at great odds with the IRR and its official Shite school of Islam.
Khomeini’s well known visceral hatred of the ruling House of Saud prohibited any meaningful relations while he was alive. After the old geezer kicked the bucket the ebbs and flows of the mostly antagonistic bilateral relations have been subject to the state of proxy wars the two regional powers play out by and large in Pakistan, Iraq, Lebanon, to some extent Afghanistan and as the latest flare-up indicates, Yemen.
With the Islamist Rapists hell-bent on acquiring nuke, it would be unfathomable to think Saudi Arabia, the petri dish where majority of 9/11 homicidal Islamist terrorists and their guru, Osama Al-Qaeda BenLaden himself were cultured, will not follow suit.
If the thought of messianic Islamist Rapists having nuke is not frightening enough, having the Saudis and following them all the little fiefdoms of the Persian Gulf having it too is a recipe for a disaster of biblical proportion.
The sane world has to step in before it is too late and the reckless IRR nuke drive supercharges an already tense Sunni, Shite rivalry which will bring nothing but more devastation on Iran and the region. Airtight sanctions in conjunction with moral and material support to the enslaved Iranians are the least costly way to rid Iran and the world of this virulent Islamist menace.

Airtight sanctions and moral support are two polar opposites...
by MOOSIRvaPIAZ on Tue Nov 10, 2009 08:50 AM PSTthe whole point of sanctions is to demoralise the public.
you tried to be intelligent but
by ali_UK on Tue Nov 10, 2009 08:39 AM PSTIf you stop concentrating on my beliefs ( which you have NO clue ) and stay on the subject , we may get some relevant and intelligent counter argument out of you.
ehhh, I disagree
by Cost-of-Progress on Tue Nov 10, 2009 08:13 AM PST" I do stand by what I posted and I believe it is a very nationalistic view. It goes beyond who is in power in our country. "
Actually, who is in power IS THE POINT HERE.
While I'll be in tears with joy of the prospects of a powerful Iran, I break out in a cold sweat when I think about murdering anti nationalist bastard clergy and their macchete wielding bearded thugs armed with a nuke.
You can really kiss freedom goodbye in Iran if that becomes the case.
You claim not to support IRI and their rapist policies, but I'm sure still embrace Islam as your religion and (unknown) oppressor. You, ali joon, need to really think about that.

by ali_UK on Tue Nov 10, 2009 07:24 AM PSTI do not want to qualify your ignorant reply with an answer. However , for the sake/hope of an intelligent debate , I am NOT a supporter of IRI / velayate-Faghih.
I do stand by what I posted and I believe it is a very nationalistic view. It goes beyond who is in power in our country.

Dear islamist aliuk
by Cost-of-Progress on Tue Nov 10, 2009 06:17 AM PSTThank you for taking time from your islamist routine to post favorable bits about your favorite repressive antinationalist, murderer regime.
Soon, you'll have to decide if it is truly iran you care about or the repressive cult called islam.

Iran should have nuclear power
by ali_UK on Tue Nov 10, 2009 05:46 AM PSTIran should be and can be a siuper power in the region.
It is good for Iran to have nuclear power. We must have it for our next generation in Iran.
It is good for Iran and the greater Middle-East if Iran had neclear weapons capability.
