Both left and right in extremes are bad. In addition there is no single definition of them. For example I support Social Security does that mean I am "left wing"? But I don't bash America so does that make me "right wing"?

See it is not as one dimensional as people make it. We need moderation and balance but human nature pushes people to radicalism. If a little bit of left made sense then a lot of it must be great! If a little bit of right made sense then lots of it is great. If a bit of religion helped someone then a theocracy must be the best! Wrong on all of the above !!! A tiny bit of medicine may saves your life but too much of it will kill you. Why do we still debate in such terms.

Regarding peace in the Middle East. That is the code for Israel Arab issue. I want it resolved but don't want to tie my or Iranian future to its resolution.

#4) If after seeing tens of millions/majority of 4 legged/long eared Iranians march for khomeini, you still believe that Iranians were fully capable of realizing a secular democracy in the 70's and still blame the late shah for not creating a secular democracy sooner, as if jeopardizing Freedom to create a democracy in a country with no history of it's a legitimate demand.

#5) You can't unite behind the only Iranian institution that did not betray Iranians during the Pahlavi era, but helped increase freedom for them.

Of course, we all know IR is more like Switzerland. So why these useless arguments? We know about the genteel and well-refined manners of the Mullahs, the Basijis and IRGC members. We have all experienced it, one way or the other.

By the way,  my only hope to reach any peace in the middle east is through the left.   

Sanctions are easily remove if IRI

would stop getting in the face of the world. I know this is not about nuclear. But it is about their funding of Hizbollah and Hamas. It is about their championing the Palestinians.

Why is this an Iran problem. Government of Iran should be interested in Iran. Not in Palestinians or Hamas. Why are they picking a fight with every power they find. Maybe USA does something wrong; fine but why should Iran worry about it.

I hear people complain about USA interfering with the world. They say world does not need a policeman. Great why the same people want Iran to be the police. Why should Iran stick its nose into business that does not belong to it.

Still,with no doubt,it IS Israel who pushes for the sanctions.  But there might be other countries here, as you mentioned, that are benefiting form this.

How do you know Isreal is pressing for sanctions or war????  Let me help you understand - Who benefits from US Sanctions on Iran?  Who has benefited from the US Sanctions of the last 30 years?   Let me give you a hint.....Norway has been buying Iranian Crude oil at $5/barell - you know why they can buy over $!00/barell at $5-$10?   US Sanctions.....Check Norway GDP trends in the last 50 years - you will see an amazing change right after USA put sanctions of Iranian Oil in the late 70's.

I would like to expand on your last post.......On the surface you are correct - although I disagree with you on Isreal has a hand on every mess in the world......My good man - the notion of Jews being the most influential people on earth is flaud...if they were they would not be victimized so many times, over and over, even today....througout history.   Those who actualy call the shots are safe and relaxed even during world wars!! and want Moslems tro think Jews control America and the world.  

As for IR apologists.....I personaly I do have a problem with, but do not despise fools who truely bvelieve in the Islamic Republic and come here and express their opinions and even downplay IR faults and defaults.   I do however despise  non-fools who frequent internet sites like this and several other Iranian mediums......and spread IR propaganda talking points to shift specific thoughts and policies.   If you only frequent Iranian.com you would likely miss it....but if you follow several mediums at once - then you would recognize the IR propaganda and weekly talking points........only then you can look at IC and see who is involved with the "weekly talking points".   This particular week - the topic is Isreal.....  next week it may ve Reza Pahlavi,....

First, I'd like to say, even though I might not always agree with her, SK is anything but an IR apologist. She's been on record numerous times not only criticizing the IR, but calling for its removal. So, it's unfair, incorrect and unkind to label SK a supporter of the regime.

Second, even speaking as someone who doesn't think much of Israel's foreign policies, frequent and gross flouting of UN Resolutions and International Law and its mistreatment of Palestinians, we Iranians really do need to get off our obsession with Israel, stop seeing their hands behind every mess affecting Iran, and get a grip on the reality that the prime responsibility for the hostilities between Israel and Iran rests squarely with the IR.
