It is out in the open, mechanized units of the Syrian Army mass murdering unarmed civilians with tanks and artillery.
Uniformed and civilian clothed barbaric Battist soldiers are assisted by the specialist murderers flown in from the Islamist Rapist Republic (IRR) and their Lebanese Hezbollah terrorist houseboys.
In this day and age, it is unconscionable for the sane and civilized world to not take all appropriate immediate actions to stop this crime against humanity.
Secretary of State meeting the Syrian opposition is a good gesture, but a gesture nevertheless. Kicking out all the Syrians from their embassies in the sane world, imposing airtight sanctions including sea and air quarantine is the minimum noninvasive starter actions.
With Russia and China having taken the side of those who kill Muslims with impunity in Iran, Syria, Sudan and elsewhere, and with America and her allies having been recognized as harbinger of hope and liberty, it is time to stop the mechanized slaughter.

Dear Freethought111
by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on Thu Aug 04, 2011 06:57 AM PDTwill never allow non-Europeans (esp. Middle Easterners) to prosper
They may try. However as India proved it is possible for non Europeans to thrive. We do not need to let them run our world rather take over our own destirny.
Yes
by Freethought111 on Thu Aug 04, 2011 06:02 AM PDTBut it is even more than that. Anglo-Europeans, so long as they hold the geopolitical and economic reigns of the planet, will never allow non-Europeans (esp. Middle Easterners) to prosper and determine their own destiny and betterment. The whole region went to hell on the watch of Jimmy Carter because Iran was only a few years shy from the completion of the Shah's Great Civilization projects. They stopped it dead in its tracks before it got there and ensured that the region descended into as much turmoil as possible for generations to come. The so-called "Arab Spring" is also about this.

by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on Thu Aug 04, 2011 05:25 AM PDTThe whole region went to *** when Jimmy Carter toppled the Shah. When the Nobel prize winner do goodies brought the new "Gandhi" to power. That is when things really went down.
If the Shah or his son were in power none of this will be happening now. It is always the idealist who create the most pain in the world. If God would rid us of idealists and bring back the realists like Nixon! The world would be a far better place ;-)
Not about Islam
by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on Thu Aug 04, 2011 05:21 AM PDTWith all due respect dear Fred this is not about Islam. China and Russia are not repressing Muslims. They are after their own interests. They would just as easily repress Buddhists as China does right now.
This is about money and resources. Not about Islam. So let us not get diverted on side issues or you will give an opening to Tavana. Please remain focused on the main thing. Freedom and its repression to prop up regimes that help rob the people.
If the 'Alawites fall in Syria
by Freethought111 on Thu Aug 04, 2011 05:14 AM PDTA bigger blood-bath (bigger than the Lebanese civil war) will soon follow. Syria will fall into the hands of Sunni Wahhabi Islamic fundamentalists and the whole region will become worse than it is now. If Israel thinks it has problems now, wait until the day when the Ikhwan take over Damascus!
No surprise
by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on Thu Aug 04, 2011 05:00 AM PDTWorld thugs unite! Being pressed from all sides Asah; Khamenei and Hezbollah unite. This is to be expected. The question is how long will it last. That depends on how people react and what Obama does.
If the Republicans in the USA would stop harassing Obama it would help. By doing their non stop harassment they distract Obama. Instead of letting him focus they make him fight stupid battles. For example keeping USA from defaulting. Topping that they want to write his foreign policy for him. Such as congress getting in bed with MEK. I think the best allies Asad and IRI have in USA are the Tea Party and hard left. Together they conspire to distract forces of reason from helping progress. The real freedom loving peole of both nations are left hanging. Meanwhile Rajavi gets the royal treatment. And Obama has to fight to keep the USA credit from turning into a toilet hole.
The world became a huge tyranny

I am very concerned & worry about poor Syrians who
