Considering the source, should it turnout to be true as reported, it is yet another one of those what the F were they thinking at the UN moment.
Report says:
“The United Nations this week elected Iran to its Commission on the Status of Women, handing a four-year seat on the influential human rights body.”
To better appreciate the absurdity of the move lets put it in more easily digestible terms. Imagine turning on your TV and seeing a reporter interviewing a convicted misogynist pedophile who while applauding the local school board for appointing him as the superintendent of the kindergarten and primary schools is proudly describing the righteousness of his “belief” and why what he does to women and children should be the gold standard for others to imitate.
Electing IRR, the Islamist Rpist Republic in any post having anything to do with human rights is a sick joke, should this report be true, the folks at UN are bunch of perverts who need to have their heads examined.

ps. Apology for using the F- word, on this one nothing else would hit the spot.
