Ramezane shoma ham mobarak
by Anonym on Mon Aug 01, 2011 01:41 PM PDTYour picture of what we presume to be Imam Ali is very nice and presentable.
According to our holly Quran, it is forbidden to create images of Angels because they are so close to God and no one knows what they looked like.
All Moslems use the same concept for not displaying pictures of the Prophet Mohammad because he was close to God and no one knows what he looked like.
The same concept can apply to our Imam Ali too. He has been closer to God than the rest of people and no one knows what he looked like. So it is advisable not to present his image, even though looking nice.
But this is just a suggestion and you are free to do as you like.
Happy Ramadan to you too.

In my view the Ahl-i-Bayt are the epitome of Truth and 'Ali, as the First Imam, is its embodiment. Frankly I do not care if Sunnis get offended by 'Ali's (as) picture because the only Sunnis that would get offended are the Wahhabis/Salafis and fellow travellers who are just later day Khwarij in my view. Sunnis who understand Truth would not be offended. While my own views vis-a-vis orthodox Islam may be considered heterodox by some, nevertheless in my world 'Ali is the Speaking Qur'an (Quran-i-Natiq).
At Ghadir Khumm the Prophet (sws) said, ""Oh people! Reflect on the Quran and comprehend its verses. Look into
its clear verses and do not follow its ambiguous parts, for by Allah,
none shall be able to explain to you its warnings and its mysteries, nor
shall anyone clarify its interpretation, other than the one whose hand I have
grasped, brought up beside myself, [and lifted his arm,] the
one about whom I inform you that whomever I am his master (Mawla), this
Ali is his master (Mawla); and he is Ali Ibn Abi Talib, my brother, the
executor of my will, whose appointment as your guardian and leader has been sent down to me from God, the mighty and the majestic, for 'Ali is with the Truth and the Truth is with 'Ali."
Aliens R Coming; Aliens R Here!
by Tavana on Mon Aug 01, 2011 08:18 AM PDT"Your wives are your tilth; go, then unto your tilth as you may desire, but first provide sometning for your souls (i.e. build up a love/spiritual relationship as the indispensable basis of sexual relations), and remain conscious of GOD, and know that you are destined to meet Him. And give glad tidings unto those who believe (& not to the COP & the aliens alike!) (2:223 & not 2:222)"
37:40-50 & not 37:37 are one again promises to GOD's true servants & & not to the COP & the aliens alike!
PS: The real aliens have taken over our neighbor countries & have their navy fleets placed in the Persian Gulf for so long. What the COP & the aliens alike have done to push them out lately????

As for reading the best book, here are a couple of excerpt from it:
“But the true servants of god shall be well provided for, feasting on fruit, and honored in the gardens of delight. Reclining face to face upon soft couches, they shall be served with a goblet filled at a gushing fountain, white, and delicious to those who drink it. It will neither dull their senses nor befuddle them. They shall sit with bashful, dark-eyed virgins, as chaste as the sheltered eggs of ostriches.” [sura 37:37]Here's one that the female followers of the divine should be particularly proud of...virgin, or not!
“Women are your fields: go, then, into your fields whence you please.” [sura 2:222]

Read/Ponder Ghoron!
by Tavana on Mon Aug 01, 2011 06:36 AM PDTEveryday in this Ramazan! That is a 'must' over whatever 'Imams' say! Each 1000 days of us is like a day for GOD per Ghoron! Doesn't such then make 1000 nights of ours like one night per GOD's timing, dear. Ponder with Ghoron, Ponder, dear! That book was revealed as the greatest gift of all given to humans until the eternity on the month of Ramazan, dear!

Happy Ramadan
by Soosan Khanoom on Mon Aug 01, 2011 06:21 AM PDTGood to see that we have some here who actually greet this month .... To you I should say thank you.....
Now one more thing .... I love Ali but would you please skip his image when you great Ramadan to all muslims? ..... How do you feel if sunni muslims send the same greeting with Omar's picture? LOL
Having said that I should mention that as you know sunnis actually like Ali cause they accept him as the forth Imam .... The problem is us, the Shai of Ali , not Ali himself , because Ali accepted and let the vote of people to stand for itself ....Ok people put the wrong guy in the office just like when U.S voted for Bush ... LOL
But there was an election back then and Ali did not get enough votes to win. Obviously unlike VF , Ali was not a dictator and unlike IRI there used to be a democracy back then ... well sort of .....
If I was living at that time I would have voted Ali but like Ali ( Peace be upon him ) I would have respected the out come of election as well.
And if Ali respected and did not fight why should we as his followers fight and create divisions after all these years?
May be you posted his picture because of Ali's Death that happens to be during this month ....
Anyway .....
Happy Ramadan to you and every one who is able to fast
:)
