Never ending caves
The spook of Halloween
Black roses sitting on the top of a haunted house
The depths of a lake
Closing your eyes
Horror
Just a dream
The daggers of everlasting pupils
Skulls staring at you for the rest of your life
Smoke rising from a fire below
Secrets and mysteries
The abyss of the ocean
Madness of your inner devil
It’s my own unique color

Welcome back!
by Nazy Kaviani on Thu Nov 12, 2009 10:33 PM PSTThank you for writing again Holleh H.
Your poem appeals to me very much. For some reason, Halloween is my least favorite American holiday. It may have something to do with my learning about it after my childhood was over! I think the Iranian sort-of equivalent to the celebration, Charshanbeh Souri, has the same mischief associated with it, but with more joy and happiness and without the frightening part. The only thing I like to do on Halloween is to stay home and receive the neighborhood trick or treaters!
Thank you for the poem and I hope you will write again soon.
Well done

I liked it very much.
