Dear Jahanshah,
congratuCongratulations for creating and establishing the first and the best Iranian online magazine. I am proud to say that I have been among the very first readers of this great and informative magazine. Iranian.com has created an easy and exciting place for the Persian and non Persian community all over the world to exchange and learn valuable information and experiences.
I personally am very grateful to you and those who helped you launch this great Idea and passion of yours.
Keep up the good job!

JJ I liked your written speech better.

I listened to your speech and thought you were perhaps nervous inside and were trying hard not to show it and as a result your speech lost its passion that was in your text. Of course this is just my 2 cents and I could be wrong.

This had happened to me couple of times where I wrote a speech and went over it several times and even in my head prepared how I was going to say it, but when I actually got up to say it I couldn't deliver how I had imagined it.

I thought your written speech was far more passionate.

I forgot. One more item I didn't mention in your first Thank You blog. The reason I liked your speech the most was because it sounded normal. I mean we hear so much that some guy had only $100 to his name and ended up being the CEO of a Fortune 150 company or he came to this country with $5 in his pocket and so on.

Whereas your story started by borrowing $9000 from your mother (a lot of money) and then more help from your sister and other family members. This IS a REAL story!! I loved it.
By the way, have you made it now? All those money spent and invested, has it made your life "greener"?! Are we there yet?! Yet another REAL story!

Hi, JJ,

Thanks for posting your heartfelt speech It was much better than the written one! i specially liked the sounds of cheers and the sound of happiness and festivity (I imagined the wine glasses and the sweet bitter taste of a great red wine...) echoed in the background. I wonder if is it on youtube now?

I hope you are going also to attend next Saturday's workshop for iranian-American writers at UCI, and so many of us that missed the 19th event, would be able to see you in real life!
