Hello, it's been a while since I posted.  I have moved to a new place and been practicing all sorts of dancing... I finally got things set up so I can make a video.  This is a Persian dance infused with modern hip hop, much like the song I danced to, MIA's "Bad Girls".  I hope you like it and I hope other cultures can more appreciate what Persian dance has to offer... ALOT.

 

I do realize the song is Arabic in nature, but it's slim pickens in the MTV world...

Hahaha.  It really is exciting for me personally because those Persian hand movements just make any dance pop.  Call it: "Chicken Gheravey" :)

Two things

Dancing (partial Persian dancing) next to a Lazy chair doesn’t look good.

Second you should take that chair out side put it on fire, and then dance around it, also it opens up the room more so you could improve your dancing.

A dance teacher, have a Lazy chair? Some of those movements must came to you while you were sitting on it.

But that’s a nice jacket to do real Persian dancing

I'm glad you like the moves.  I understand the music is not everyone's taste, but it is popular and a good way of opening people up to cool cultures... like Persians. :)

Welcome back!

I hope that you were not apprehended for the past several months. 

Your new place has "Woman Touch" written all over it!

I mean, look at the husband-wife picture over your left shoulder, or all the stuff on the shelves and all the feminine decorations.

Try to get out of there as fast as you can buddy!

Your dance was good but it still needs some work.

For some reasons you reminded me of Christopher Walken here.........Although I think that if you were my son a couple of slaps would've fixed you but I admire your originality, nonetheless..........keep it up, young man.............
