Please see my letter to Obama at the time he became president
by ahosseini on Wed Oct 05, 2011 05:32 AM PDTLetter to Obama
Dear President Obama
I enjoyed the Drama
Of your campaign and your fight
And your movement and flight
Your words were impressive
And not like Bush aggressive
I heard your words of wisdom
On your pathway to become
The president of USA
On this moment and this day
Unlike Condoleezza Rice
You sounded lovely and nice
...
About the catastrophe in Gaza
Where are you I can’t see?
There is a catastrophe.
Please come out of your shell
Gaza has turned into hell
It is worse than Montgomery
They are deprived and hungry
Innocent kids are slaughtered
Hundreds are killed and injured
Put an end to this nonsense
Please stop this offense
....
Treat Muslims with respect
If in US and Germany
People live in harmony
If in London and Paris
Jews and Muslims live in peace
So can a Jew in Jerusalem
Leave in peace with a Muslim
....
Now I have a big dream
Now I have a big dream
That together as a team
Hands in hands in unity
Build the Jerusalem city
For both the Jews and gentile
In good fashion and style
Then we create a file
A file as big as a mile
For current differences
And future references
That war will be history
And just a big story
....
This perhaps refreshes our memory!

by Bahram G on Tue Oct 04, 2011 01:28 PM PDTI would prefer to deal with the most evil man, as long as he is forthright about his evilness. What I can't stand are the two-faced schemers who disguise their true nature and motives pretending to be something other than what they actually are. Now, who are the people who condon the "genocide" of the Palestinians? No generalities please. No obfuscation please. Specific names please. When the IRI is called genocidal, truckloads of evidence back up the claim. But are the Israelis are also committing genocide against the Palestinians? Don't tell me about the tit for tat that goes on between the two sides. They are indeed ought to be ashamed of themselves and should end it and get together and cooperatively creat great side by side thriving nations. The best we can do is to stop fueling this flame of hatred that is consuming the life of Palestinians and Israeli.Bahram g

Shame on those who support genocide in Palestine.
by ahosseini on Tue Oct 04, 2011 11:15 AM PDTHow can anyone defend the acts of genocide in Palestine? We all know IRR is abusing just cause of the Palestinian people. We may or may not like the political leaders of various factions in Palestinian movement, but does that justify the brutal suppression of Palestinians and continuous policy of building settlements over the ruins of Palestinian homes. It is just despicable to have such an attitude. Even the most rightwing governments(in words) in Europe have been opposing the aggressive behaviour of the successive Israeli governments.
I personally dislike the known Palestinian politicians but I would still say shame on those who support genocide in Palestine.

by MRX1 on Tue Oct 04, 2011 08:02 AM PDTpart of it has to do with keeping people busy and diverting the attention so they can loot the country. (Follow the money) .There are people in Iran that are extermely khorafati va khar mazhabi you dont' want them to actauly thing logically do you? you don't want them to uqestion mullah's abut some thing?
Also with out PLO's logistical help (training of IRI killers, providing hit men, assasisns, and mercenaries) islamo facist coup of 1979 (aka Iranian revolution) would have had no chance of succeeding, so IRI feels like they owe them some thing.
Beyond that majority of sane Iranians don't give a hoot about palestine.
Valid points
by Bahram G on Tue Oct 04, 2011 07:31 AM PDT1. Pendar. Hatred for the "other" seems to be almost genetic and at peak virulence with the Shia crowd. If one is raised in Iran, in a Shia family, he/she automatically acquires this potent tendency to hate. Even after leaving shiaism, many are incapable of riding themselves of the hatreds embedded in them during the early years. So, they hate all others to various degrees. Sunnis are hated, Jews have always been hated since shiaism took firm roots in Iran. Bahais are loathed and even zoroastrians are subjects of hatred and showered with epithet such as GABR ATESH PARAST.This hatred thing extends itself to just about all others even among the Shia themselves. Shias of town or region call Shias of other regions names and ascribe demeaning attribute to them. So you can take shiaism out of the child, but you can't easily get rid of shiaism completely.Yes, that's the way I see it. Some of this anti-Israeli is driven by hatred of the Jews. And love for Palestinians? Give me a break. Since when Iranians have become blood-brothers with Arabs, be the Palestinian or whatever?Having said all this, I don't mean to say that Palestinians can go and live with their most unwelcoming Arab Muslim brothers who have enough room to put a hunred israel in and have room for a hundred more. No, I am not saying that. Palestinians have a legitimate claim and should settle for the two state thing and make the best of it. No, the Jews didn't much care for the furnaces of the criminal Nazis and they care even less for being drowned in the meditranian. We Iranian must try and be honest and even-handed. The Israelis are not treating the Palestinians very nicely. Well, if they do that and really please them, they end up either packing and leaving israel as AN keeps ordering them or let the Arabs dunk them all, men, women and children in the sea.Fact is that hatred operates, to various degree, in every human heart and targets all kinds of the living and everything else on earth. It is when laser-focsed that hatred really begins to scorch it's target. Diffusing hatred is sometime the best we can hope for.2. All those people and countries listed as supporters of the palestinians are for the two state deal and do not advocate turning the country over to the Arabs. Even the "great Satan" supports the plan.Final word. Jews have suffered enough. They have, at long last taken over a tiny piece of desert, the size of Illinois' Cook County, and aiming to live without being tormented by the landlords. So, let them be for fairness sake. We Iranians should devote all our humanitarian energies to fix things at home and not add fuel to the Israeli-Palestinian fire.Bahram g

The alliance of reesh-o pashm knows that it cannot and will not be where it is today for a long time. It knows it'll have to resort to extreme voilence once the divine crap hits the fan. What better weapon than a bunch of arab mercenaries to kill your own people? Of course, these haramzaadeh haa do not care about country, honor and heritage. They only know money and power mixed with a twisted and sick ideology. Same ideology that has served them well for the past 32 F'ing years.

BG I take it eveything you said applies to Turkey too...
by Disenchanted on Mon Oct 03, 2011 09:12 PM PDTThat is, Turkey's Erdogan Obsession with Israeli violations have same causes that you counted for IRI. Great! But why is Chomsky an American Jew, so obsessed with Israel. Uha, ulterior motives! Got it! ;-)
Of course Chavez's motives are known to all of us when it comes to kicking out Israel embassador.
But why Brazil seems to be obsessed with it? For heaven sake they are sitting at the bottom of the world (geographically speaking). Let me see. They wanna use it as distraction of their economic failures.
...and what the hell is the matter with British?! They seem to be feverishly anti Israel (This is an admission by Israeli gov. itself!). That is a tough one, afterall Brits had everything to do with creation of this THING!
Why all of a sudden China and Russia and India and 160 other countries are advocating statehood for Palestine?!
See pals I see your points about IRI but it seems to me there is more to opposing Israeli violations than politicians of our country trying to divert attention from their own problems. Truth, plain and simple!

by shushtari on Mon Oct 03, 2011 09:02 PM PDTdon't forget the felestini terrorists and that filth, arafat, helped trained all the nuts and killers who are running iran today.
plus they had a hand in burning cinema rex, killing 400 innocent iranians, as well as shooting at our soldiers in meydoon jaleh.....
on top of that, arafat died with 400M in his bank account!!! i'm sure that's from all the oil in the gaza strip!
that's why all iranians' should NOT give a hoot about the felestinis......the akhoonds can yell and preach all they want....the truth is that we could care less about their suffering, because they're neck deep in crimes against iran
Here is why
by Bahram G on Mon Oct 03, 2011 08:08 PM PDTWhat everyone needs to understand is that it is the sacred mission of the most humanitarian government of the world, IRI, to spare no effort and spend it's treasure in fighting oppression anywhere in this horribly oppressive world.
That's why they run a most just government at home. Just look how free every one is in Iran. Sunnis are afforded great respect and freedom, never mind that they are Hussein killers; Jew, who spy for the wicked Israel are treated as valued hammihan and even have a representative in that hallowed chamber of Islamic legislation. Christians are treated just as fairly. In fact some of the are treated as guests of the state with first class accommodation in the luxury hotel called Evin for espousing the alien faith.
To top it all, in compliance with their mission of defending the oppressed and the minority, they have been bending backward allowing the Bahais, affectionately they call them FERGHE ZALLEH, the deviant sect, to eventually revert to the one and only non-deviant Shia 12-Imamate, which itself happened to be one of over a hundred Shia sects.
So, why accuse these benevolent mulla rulers and their frontmen of ulterior motives in championing the Palestinian cause? See, they have their house in order and now they are going to the aid of the oppressed in their neighborhood. And please don't go thinking that they are provencial and parochial. Haven't you heard that they are dispatching their fearsome naval forces all the way to the waters of the Great Satan? See, if you live in the US and if you are like the great majority of the people oppressed, take heart. Help is on it's way. The Mullahs are coming, the Mullas are coming. Just hang in there a little longer and they will bring us the same system of love and justice they have established at home for our hammihanan.
They're good folks and thank them for championing the Palestinian cause in spite of the facts you have listed. That goes to show how forgiving and magnanimous these Mullahs are.
I hope now you can appreciate what the IRI is doing.
Respectfully to jenabe khers

Good points! But...
by Disenchanted on Mon Oct 03, 2011 07:14 PM PDTFirst of all jenaabe Khers, I'd advise that you express your ideas w/o resorting to insult and accusation like the other blog.
Now, if the criteria for protesting any injustice and crime in the world is that the victim has had no disservice to our beloved Iran we end up remaining silent in most cases.
Let say victims were British, Russian, Iraqi, Saudis, Americans, Turks and pretty much every other nationality. Do you think it would have been justified to protest that? After all we have had problems with all of the above.
Turks fought us 400 hundred years ago, British were involved in Mossadegh episode, Russian have screwed us more than I can count. So basically we should not say anything as they deserve it! Huh!
Israeli actions are despicable on a human level and because of "special" treatment it gets we all have to call them on it.
I do agree however that IRI exploits the Palestine issue to its advantage and gains legitimacy from it. Because actions of Israeli extremist are indefensible.
Hear it from conscience of our time Noam Chomsky (video)
In case someone from mars reading this blog, Chomsky is Jewish and also opposes Iran's violation of human rights and yet he is an staunch critic of Israeli actions. So Jenaabe Khers, its not about being Iranian or Arab or Jew. It's about being human. Humanity will look back at this episode of history ashamed that how it took so long to right this wrong?!
Khers - It is called a diversion tactic
by MM on Mon Oct 03, 2011 06:17 PM PDTThat is, do everything you can to divert attention away from the atrocities committed by the IRI on her own people by:
1. Prevent access to the information inside Iran.
2. Divert attention to other issue such as Palestine. If you read Aynak's blog on UN's recent vote on Palestine, I predicted that the IRI would oppose a 2-state sotution since that would remove a huge diversion from the IRI's arsenal, mainly the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

by Delavar1 on Mon Oct 03, 2011 04:36 PM PDTYou asked "Just cannot figure it out why IRI is spending so much time and money for Palestine". That is the existance of IRI is based on fight between Isralies and palestineans. That way they exploit peoples emotions and religious sensitivities. There are still Many fanatic religious Iranians are still living in dark ages and believe a Jewish /Christian or an infidel state should not live among Muslim nations. Look for example at the ongoing dispute between Kashmiries and Hindus. The Islamists believe thta Kashmir should not be part of India because Kashmries are muslims.
