Israeli attempts at fanning mass hysteria among its own population, has now produced the following short video depicting a surprise Iranian nuclear attack on Israel from a civilian point of view. While the Israeli and US militaries are apparently out picnicking, Israel is being mercilessly attacked by conventional and nuclear bombs and missiles by a rampaging Iranian airforce. I don't know who exactly is behind the making of this video, but the special effects don't look amateurish.
This sort of fear mongering is having an unintended adverse effect on Israel. Consider, for example, this recent NBC News video/article. (Notice that in the NBC video an Israeli official claims they may have ways of penetrating Iran's deepest bunkers, suggesting that an attack may be effective in halting Iran's nuclear drive.) The second Q&A from the bottom of the article reads,
"Q: Why would Israel launch such an attack?
A: Putting aside Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s inflammatory comments that Israel should be “wiped off the face of the Earth” (which some Iranians claim privately was a mistranslation), some Israeli officials believe the continuous threat of an Iranian nuclear weapon would lead as many as 200,000 of their best and brightest citizens to leave for the United States and other Western nations. That is the “existential threat” Israeli officials worry about, not that Iran could destroy Israel.
An Iranian nuclear weapon would give Israel a lot less latitude to respond to Iranian threats, the Israelis believe."
In other words, driven into fight-or-flight mode by induced fears, a substantial part of Israel's educated sector is seriously considering emigrating, which is more of an existential threat to their country than the non-existent Iranian bomb.

by Bunyip on Sat Feb 04, 2012 05:29 PM PSTthat video gives us a good idea how it would be like when/ if Iran is attacked. the likelihood of Iran attacking Israel to the scale shown in this video is either close to zero or none.

by Bavafa on Sat Feb 04, 2012 12:36 PM PSTWell, some folks on IC would hold NIAC responsible for any fear mongering and talk of war between these two nations.
Nevertheless, all parties who contribute to the escalation of possible war must be exposed and condemned.
Thanks for posting this.
