Where do I vote for the President?
not very funny
by James D. on Fri Jul 15, 2011 06:55 AM PDTSorry, but the other top ten lists have actually been funny. This just seems like a sad attempt to get back at NIAC for making the Iranian American community realize that the MEK is on the verge of buying its way of the terrorist list. (Watch the video to see what I mean.)

For good or ill, JM and INF are Iran’s best, if not the only, hope for democracy, freedom, and human rights. JM has fought against 2 brutal savage tyrannical regimes of monarchy and VF regime.
Unlike monarchists and VF regime that murdered dissidents, tortured, raped, and executed political opponents, JM has never done so. This is ACTUAL democratic practice. JM (and a few Nehzat Azadi members) strongly opposed and condemned Khomeini violating due process of the law for the prosecution of monarchists after the revolution.
Many of the leaders and supporters of NAMIR have rejoined INF and today hold leadership positions within INF.
Mr. Bazargan left JM in 1961-62. He was leader of Nehzat Azadi Iran from 1961. From 1962, Nehzat Azadi was NOT part of the JM.

Hmmmm
by oktaby on Thu Jul 14, 2011 09:04 PM PDTI don't care for NIAC or the wasted attention they get for so little they actually do, but your beating up on them MK is about the same as them beating up on MEK. NIAC is only as confused in its political views and emptiness as JM.
One could argue their 'for Iran' hot air, while still working with the rapist republic and 'negotiating' with them, is very much similar to JM's (Mossadegh and few others excepted) talk of democracy and freedom while all they have done is betray or get duped.
Your list will be more complete if you added the top 10 JM version starting with Bazargan (specially as was almost giving a BJ to Khomeini), the founder of the concept of Velayat Vaghih and its original endorser. Then complete it with JM members who joined Khomeini et al and those who ganged up on Bakhtiar and undermining him at every corner.
The bottom line: JM is as irrelevant and out of touch and fossilized as MEK, Khomeini and Toodeh. At least NIAC is young and its acronym is a 4 letter word..

Karim
by Masoud Kazemzadeh on Thu Jul 14, 2011 08:18 PM PDTDear Karim M.,
1. I am a member of Iran National Front-Abroad, and its chapter in the U.S. It is called Sazeman-hay Jebhe Melli Iran Kharej Az Keshvar. The following are our sites:
//www.iranazad.info/
//www.jebhemelli.net/
2. I have served (as elected member) in the Central Committee of INF-A as well as (elected) member of the Executive Council as Secretary of Foreign Affairs and Secretary of Foreign Affairs and Human Rights.
3. INF-A does not have any direct organizational relationships with Jebhe Melli Iran (inside Iran). Many of our members were members of JM when they were residing in Iran. There exists personal relationships between members of INF-A and JM. In addition, the members of JM send their greetings to our Congresses, and we also publically express our support for the members of JM inside.
Each organization is independent from the other. JM is NOT responsible for the politics and policies of INF-A and its members. INF-A is NOT responsible for the politics and policies of JM (inside) and its members. In other words, each organization is independent from the other. But we support and help the other organization from time to time.
I hope this is helpful.
Best,
Masoud
Whether you like it or not
by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on Thu Jul 14, 2011 08:09 PM PDTNIAC does represent the majority opinion of Iranian American. Which is opposed to war with Iran. MK: are you an official representative of JM or not: yes or no.

by Karim M. on Thu Jul 14, 2011 07:54 PM PDTI think I read the answers to some of this questions in one of your postings. But could you please remind me what your relationship is with the National Front (Jebheh Melli)? Are you in a leadership role in that organization? Is there a direct relationship between any chapter in which you are a member and the main organization in Iran? Thank you for your answers in advance.

Top Ten Signs that the Loonies Were Running the Asylum Today!
by Faramarz on Thu Jul 14, 2011 07:25 PM PDTI was quite busy today and when I got a chance to get caught up with IC, I saw all these Top Ten Signs; all quite amusing and a sheer sign that the loonies were running the asylum today!
Here are some of the signs!
1. JJ is traveling in the middle of nowhere and with no good wifi access to the site.
2. Admin is on vacation and forgot to tell the News Editor that he was in charge.
3. There is no poetry posted today.
4. No sexy and not-very-talented Iranian of the Day either.
5. There is no news item about Israel/Palestine.
6. There is nothing by IranMilitaryFenjoon about Regime’s military might or space program.
7. DK’s post about Nourizadeh only has one clip attached! That’s a first.
8. Half of Lokht dar Ayneh is missing in action.
And a few more anomalies. Who is in charge here?
It must be the Bastille Day!
"One should respect public opinion insofar as is necessary to avoid starvation and keep out of prison, but anything that goes beyond this is voluntary submission to an unnecessary tyranny."

by iamfine on Thu Jul 14, 2011 07:15 PM PDTMany important individuals in this country are member of NIAC. Can you proof the link between NIAC and IRI. This is typical of many Iranians that hear something, somewhere, from someone, without investigating the source or the validity of what they were told. Just to let you know Dr. Ansari (the first Iranian female astronaut that went to orbit a year ago) is a member of NIAC
.

Not funny at all. Not one bit. Sorry to be blunt.
by Anahid Hojjati on Thu Jul 14, 2011 06:58 PM PDTAny body who calls this blog funny agrees with your political opinions and just wants to write against NIAC. A while ago, you wrote a funny blog but this is not funny. Ari' s blog was funny but this is just politically motivated without any sense of humor. My own blog is funnier than this and mine was not featured. Admin, playing favorites?
Great - Love it
by ayatoilet1 on Thu Jul 14, 2011 06:34 PM PDTThe big clue to NIAC, is that they say they represent Iranians in America; but they don't have any elections!? How can you represent anyone without elections? 3000 members ...don't even come close to 1% of Iranian-Americans. No one even believes their claim of 3000 members. More than that, its Trita Parsi'd dookooon.... a business...with no transparency.
