برین خوش باشین تا ۲۰۱۴. با کمال تاسف تسلیت عرض می‌کنم. با این وضع که امیدمون روز آخر به بازی عربستان و کره بود، همون بهتر که نرفتیم. همش زیر دست انگلیس و آمریکا بود؛ این مادر خطاها چش ندران هیچ خوشی‌ به ما ایرانیها ببینن. ما رفتیم خرسوواری خودمان را کنیم. با کمال تشکر و ارادت به آقای مهمان.

This team...

Needs more coordination... more descipline...more speed and more of an structured play. There is no system or a goal that the team is following. The ball gets passed around, for no good reason. Even if we make it to S. africa, we can not have much hope of accomplishing anything, even if it is not about advancing and just playing good. quality games in our group.

Repeat

I can just repeat my analysis from the last match:

1) The 4-2-3-1 system doesn't promise success like 4-1-3-2 or 4-3-3 (no team in the history of football has won a major tournament with this system).

2) Generally the quality of the players isn't that high.

3) Against UAE the defenders had faced no challenges, but against a stronger offence they had many problems.

4) The midfielders work to rule, I miss the passion, the risk. And they keep the ball too long.

5) Don't we have better strikers with Iranian citizenship?

not a good chance though!  if either s. arabia or n. korea win and if n. korea doesn't score more than one goal in a loss, iran goes to playoffs.

the odds are in favor of a tie game between s. arabia and n. korea since they don't want to risk a loss.

Well Folks...

It is finally here. The day our national team plays its final qualifying match for world cup 2010. In light of current events in iran, i know that the result of the match may not seem that important... However i still believe it is a batter well worth watching and cheering for, I wish our players the ability to concentrate well and the ability to take shots on the goal, as many times as they can!

I was there Mineum71 !

Can you believe dear Mineum71 that I was a kid (a soccer fan from birth!) and I was so much a soccer enthusiast that I forced a relative of mine who was a universtiy professor and not at all interested in soccer to take me to the azadi (aryamehr) stadium to watch that match!

 We sat on the second floor because we arrived 5 minutes after the match started and Iran played well in the first half and scored 2 goals and hassan roshan did very well, but suddenly Korea got back the momentum  and tied the game and we became very sad! but it was  a great game and the result was not that bad. 

I also attended many of the Iran League soccer games (Takhteh Jamshid Cup) as a kid soccer fan before 1979.

Hassan Rowshan and Ali Parvin were undoubtedly 2 of the best players Iran has ever had and that team is as you said one of the best team in Iran's soccer history. Remember Iran won 3 times consecutively the Asian Championship and no team since then or before has been able to win 3 consecutive Asian Championship!

This match was one the the first football matches I've ever seen on TV. This Iranian team was the MOST likeable Team Melli ever.

khalatbari is a young and very promising player. As he matures I predict he could show himself as a combination of Azizi and Karimi. In the game with UAE he did not play great, though he was not bad either that is because I think he was a bit excited, if he actuatlizes all his potentials he could be another Karimi or even better!

خاطرات خوش فراموش نشدنی و تاریخی!

این هم یادی از بازی تاریخی ایران مقابل کره جنوبی در سال 1996. این یکی از بهترین بازی های تاریخ 60 ساله تیم فوتبال ایران است!

البته این واقعه استثنایی بود ولی آدمی از لذت دیدن این فیلم سیر نمی شود! چون خاطرات خوش فراموش نشدنی هستند هر چند تکرار نشدنی باشند!

یادتان نرود که ابتدا کره جنوبی دو بر یک از ایران جلو افتاد و هیچ آدمی عاقلی باور نمی کرد که ایران آن طور کولاک کند که کرد و آن گلهای زیبا را به ثمر برساند که رساند!
