Laleh-zaar, started as the Iranian equivalent of Champs Élysées in the Ghajar dynasty, reached its hay-day in the Pahlavi era as the entertainment haven in Tehran, and finally a sad ending in IRI.  Take a trip thru the history of Laleh-zaar with this video:

What are you memories of Laleh-zaar?

Cinema?  Kaafe w/ Mahvash-like dance?  Jaahel w/a kolaah-makhmali?  Kaabaareh? ...........

Well, here is a reminder from Morteza:

Soosan's songs and Jaheli dance typify Laleh-zaar for me.

I loved both videos. Morteza's song was indeed very joyful. It brightened my evening :)

The good behavior of the people, warms our heart and make us thankful.....  And the bad ones, just make us to recognize and appreciate the good ones!
