Your Baha'i Invitation

Hi, Curtis Wynne here, performing my civic duty the only way I know how ... writing and passing on what I believe, offering it as the greatest gift I can hope to give anyone.

This site (//bahai-invitation.com/) is about my great discovery in 1980 when, at the age of 32, I stumbled onto a mystery that had been around for almost a century and a half. To me it was a greater mystery that I had never heard of the Baha'i Faith before. Since then, I've learned much, but I still don't understand why it seems so many people apparently haven't heard of Baha'u'llah.

Well, for one thing, Baha'is don't proselytize, at least not in the sense that means bringing undue pressure on anyone to convert. Maybe that's why I hadn't heard of the Faith. There's so much "noise" out there that the gentle Baha'i voice went unheard. So how is it that the Baha'i Faith is the second most widespread religion in the world, lovingly embraced by more than six million souls? That's over 6,000,000 men, women and youth. In a little over 150 years? (There were only two million when I found the Faith in 1980.)

We teach
But we only teach those who are interested in hearing our message.

You are Invited
If you already know about the Baha'i Faith, here's a simple invitation right up front. We Baha'is often over-compensate in our effort to avoid proselytizing and we forget that, at least in the American society (the only one I know well), one usually expects an invitation before "joining" any organization. If you're not ready for it, please feel free to return to this page and continue your investigation. This invitation is wide open and depends entirely on your relationship with the Almighty.

NOTE
I've prepared a FAQ page (Frequently Asked Questions) especially for Christians whose investigation won't wait. If your question is not listed, please email me and I will try to fill the void.

Your Investigation
Every soul travels its own path and every mind has a different question. What interests you most:

* The Baha'i teachings, first revealed to humanity more than a hundred years ago, and only in the latter part of this century becoming generally accepted?

* The Source from which those profound world-healing teachings emanate?

* The unique administrative system that keeps the Baha'i community unified and growing?

* The manner in which a Baha'i lives the life?
