dear Nazy Kaviani
by Souri on Tue Jun 09, 2009 06:29 AM PDTI want to thank you for your continuous effort and support in providing and saving this great cyberspace for all of us.
The "hot seat" event is a very great initiative and we all should be very grateful to you for this ingenious idea.
I wish you could keep us posted of the event and post some of the discussion here if it is at all possible. Many of the users, especially those Europe resident may not be able to participate in that event, but I'm sure they will be glad to read a resume of that "seat". This will be indeed, very encouraging for those who had not yet get the chance to use the chat room.
Having said that, I would like to apologize for having involuntarily derailed the subject of this blog, sometimes.
Best wishes of luck for you.
Khanoum Khanouma,

by Monda on Sun Jun 07, 2009 08:16 AM PDTthis is such a cool idea! I certainly want to be there specially for the Salari family and Arash Sobhani. Although I do enjoy Mr. Mirfenderski and Mr. Bahmani from afar.
Thanks dear Anahid
by Souri on Sun Jun 07, 2009 01:08 PM PDTI don't know how to thank you for your nice and supporting comment. There has been always a good boundaries between you and me and also many other women in the site with me, that I need not to expose to all the contributors of this site, only to justify my existence here.
Rest assured that nothing bad happened in the chat room, at least nothing that I would know. The anonymous person (One reader) here is a lady blogger whom I had the misfortune of commenting on one of her stories, and she got offended since then, because she got that comment very personally and took it as an "attack" to her "womanhood".
She assumes that I like men. I like men and women, all in the same way. Actually I like human being, regardless of their gender. There's no such thing as "womanhood" in my book, but instead I act as the "Robin hood" in this site :) lol
If only she was aware of all the encouraging email exchanges, between me and other female contributors of this site, she will be just amazed, both by the number and the names!
Only, all this is and should stay anonymous here and I don't need to expose myself in such a vast degree, just to prove "her" anything.
People, male and female, ask me to read their blog and comment on it. They send me their poem, their comment, their article, to read before they post it here.
I had many discussion with numerous people here, nothing personal, and they know it. I had also very heated arguments with three contributors who just hate me. Amazingly, all the three, are male contributors!!
Yes, I like men, you know why? Because men and women CAN be simply true friends in my opinion. There's more into a man/woman relationship than just one aspect of "sexual chemistry" which is indeed described by "womanhood" in the eye of this "one reader" contributor.
Call me anything you want, but I am not in the "attracting" business, neither here in this site nor out of this site. Call me "a boy", call me a "male admirer" call me anything you want, madame, but just live and let live.
There's room for every single body in this world and there's room for every contributor in this site. Just do continue your way and let other people live their life the way they are happy with. Making false accusation and false image and manipulating my best friends here, just to make more room for yourself, is nothing productive. At the end of the day, this is you who will be the real looser, not me.

by Jahanshah Javid on Sun Jun 07, 2009 12:25 AM PDTIt's a great idea to invite guests and have live chats with them. Do it!
Souri has always admired my work and I am not a male contributor
by Anahid Hojjati on Sat Jun 06, 2009 11:03 PM PDTSo there is this weird comment that asks Souri not to admire male contributors in such a way. I am no male contributor and Souri jan has been always very encouraging regarding poems that I have posted. To have support of her who is so knowledgeable about Persian poetry has been important to me. I have only used Chatroom once for few minutes so I do not know what has happened there regarding Souri but one thing is that some people are very jealous. Souri is an intelligent lady who speaks her mind and some people cannot take this. To these people, I can only say: "hasood, hasood, hargez nayasood."
That is so cool Nazy.
by jojo (not verified) on Sat Jun 06, 2009 10:16 PM PDTArash Sobhani of Kiosk!

Thx Ladies (Lady Nazy and Lady Souri) .
This blog is not about me, but shortly.....
by Souri on Sat Jun 06, 2009 04:44 PM PDTAzarin aziz:
Thanks for your heartwarming words. Rest assure that this feeling is mutual, and don't worry about chatting together, we can always chat in another way.
Mondaye aziz:
Same az for Azarin my dear. I love you girls and thanks you many many times for your wonderful support. I will never leave this site, rest assure honey.
One reader:
" 1) Be proud of your womanhood, 2)don't try to be one of the BOYS and 3)don't admire MALE contributors in such an exaggerated way!"
LoL :) very funny comment. Let see, who is dominating who now? Why does your comment smell only jealousy?
PS: I'm now going to Homayoon's concert and will spend a very great evening. Try to do the same you guys. Forget about me. Have fun :)
Souri Jan chee shod?!
by Monda on Sat Jun 06, 2009 04:29 PM PDTIt's been a pleasure for me to read your honest opinions here. What ever happened in that chat session?? Who offended you ke beram bezanamesh?
Some people on this site need to learn to share space with others, I swear they never learned it in kindergarten.
Dear Souri,
by Azarin Sadegh on Sat Jun 06, 2009 03:48 PM PDTDear Souri,
I assume that it is your personal decision and hopefully, it is not a request made by the "site's owner"...But why?
Without you, the chat room is going to feel kind of dull! Please reconsider Souri jan! I got to know you better in the chat room and I really liked you and your honesty and courage.
I hope you would change your mind and looking forward to talking to you in the chat room again, Azarin
PS: Nazy jan, I'm sorry if my comment is kind of unrelated to your blog...but I hope you would understand and forgive me. Love, Azarin
A very good news Souri :))
by One reader (not verified) on Sat Jun 06, 2009 03:18 PM PDTYour absence will be most appreciated by everybody as you don't have a good sense of boundaries and DOMINATE like a traditional MAN. Be proud of your womanhood, don't try to be one of the BOYS and don't admire MALE contributors in such an exaggerated way!
To all the readers
by Souri on Sat Jun 06, 2009 02:37 PM PDTI came here to announce publicly that from now on, you will never see me in the chat room. If by any mean, I have been a threat to anyone who did not like my presence in the chat room (and in this site) please take note that you need not to be concerned by me or my presence in the chat room anymore.
If I seemed to you as an arrogant, too curious, too militant :) or I
acted as if I owned this site ( lol ) or as if JJ owes me money? (I wish
I were so rich) or any other reason which was blocking your way to the
chat room, please rest assure that you will have no reason to fear my
presence there, anymore.
The chat room was built for you, with lots of effort and hard work
by Admin and the support of the owner of this site, also a few good
friends who were trying hard to provide you a friendly space to gather
and knowing each other.
This "hot seat" event is really great and fun. I wish I had that
chance to attend to those events, as I respect all the guests, the
Salari family, our dear Bruce, Arash Sobhani and also my favorite of
all time, the very dear Guive Mirfenderski.
I will beg all of you, to appreciate the daily hard work which is done
for you, and contribute to these effort in order to keep this place the
way you like it to be, each time you click on the iranian.com.
All due respect to every one of you,
