A new university for study of the Quran and Hadith was inaugurated in the holy city of Qom this week. This center for advanced theological education and research was built on a budget of $44,000,000,000 rials (when rial dollar exchange was around 11000:1)
At the time when universities in the Western world are spending time and resources on stupid and useless research subjects such as genomics, molecular level computing, nano technology and discovery of new sub-sub atomic particles the Islamic Republic of Iran has successfully brought to fruition this critically important center where scholars can study a book from 1400 years ago and hadithes which have survived the test of time and having been kept alive verbally "from ear to ear".
Rumors are MIT, Harvard, Princeton in the U.S. and several other important universities throughout he world have already applied for franchise licenses from Qom.
We hope that soon another university is planned for the study of books from Imam Khomeini, the leader of the Islamic Revolution. This university is to be called Qom Institute for Advanced Studies of Holy Books by Imam Khomeini
Please say 3 salavaats now and go and contribute to the Imam Khomeini University. Your dollars and Euros will go a looooong way these days.

Additional research
by nozarmahallati on Sat Oct 06, 2012 08:50 AM PDTSignificant budget has been allocated to additional research regarding the subject of persons with amputated left leg as well as those with no right leg.
These are issues that effect many and a solution would be matter of great victory for the human kind. As Neil Armstrong put it so eloquently, "one small step for man, a giant step for mankind"
good against back pain
by radius-of-the-persian-cat on Sat Oct 06, 2012 01:56 AM PDTWell, but consider please the beneficial effect of the chotoli position to keep the back muscles strong and the vertebral column smooth and in good stature. Back pain is a major health problem in the western world, and perhaps related to the life long sitting position on toilets. Ones again western way of life is obviously against human nature. Could be a good research project for the medical faculty down there at Qom.
You are 100% correct radius-of-
by nozarmahallati on Fri Oct 05, 2012 01:28 PM PDTThe next Nobel prize for theological studies will certainly be awarded to the team of scholars at the Qom university for determining the exact position and angle of left foot with respect to coordinates of the toilet bowl as well as the right foot when entering a toilet; this work is limited to mid eastern toilets where the user must sit in "chotoli" style as opposed to the western toilets where users normally sit.
Center of Excellence
by radius-of-the-persian-cat on Fri Oct 05, 2012 12:48 PM PDTThanks Nozarmahallati for sharing this good news with us. I'd like to add some more rumours that arose recently. The Stockholm based Nobel-price committee is considering introducing another Nobel-award, this time for ground-breaking religious studies. Good chances that quite some of them over the next years will go to the Quran and Hadith university in Qom. Congratulations to the brave recipients in advance. Keep up the innovative work. I am sure that by the help from the this hot spot of science and research, many global problems will soon be easily solved, like global warming, financial dept crisis, erectile dysfunction and delayed arrival of Santa Claus.
