as a fair brandishment just like a candle

quarter of soldiers and libertines just like a candle.

eyes of this worshiper of grief, night and day I cannot sleep
So much
so that in this sickness of separation from you I am wrapt in ecstasy
just like a candle.

Threadbare in patience am I, shorn to
bits by the grief of you
And so in the fire of the Sun of your Love
shall I burn away just like a candle.

If the quantity of my tears
of blood fail in making me warm of countenance
Whence did you become
irradiant to the secret of the hidden world just like a candle?

In
the midst of water and fire, likewise as it is enrapped by you
This
torn and lacerated grief-striken heart, my tears raining down just like a
candle.

In my Night of separation send me a butterfly of
connection
Otherwise in my pain from you I shall burn down a world
just like a candle.

Without the Beauty of the world of your
counsels my Day is as the Night
In the acme of the perfection of your
Love I am wasting away just like a candle.

The mountain of my
patience has softened like wax in the hands of your grief
Until in
the fire and water of your Love shall I melt away just like a candle.

As
my Dawn is subsistent by one breath in the meeting of you
Show your
Face, O heart-ravisher, so that I may extinguish my life just like a
candle.

Exalt me with your union one night, O sweetheart
So
that illuminated may become by your meeting the portico of the heaven of
my world just like a candle.

در وفای عشق تو مشهور خوبانم چو شمع شب
نشین کوی سربازان و رندانم چو شمع
روز و شب خوابم نمیآید به چشم غم پرست
بس
که در بیماری هجر تو گریانم چو شمع
رشته صبرم به مقراض غمت ببریده شد
همچنان
در آتش مهر تو سوزانم چو شمع
گر کمیت اشک گلگونم نبودی گرم رو
کی
شدی روشن به گیتی راز پنهانم چو شمع
در میان آب و آتش همچنان سرگرم توست
این
دل زار نزار اشک بارانم چو شمع
در شب هجران مرا پروانه وصلی فرست
ور
نه از دردت جهانی را بسوزانم چو شمع
بی جمال عالم آرای تو روزم چون شب
است
با کمال عشق تو در عین نقصانم چو شمع
کوه صبرم نرم شد چون موم در
دست غمت
تا در آب و آتش عشقت گدازانم چو شمع
همچو صبحم یک نفس
باقیست با دیدار تو
چهره بنما دلبرا تا جان برافشانم چو شمع
سرفرازم
کن شبی از وصل خود ای نازنین
تا منور گردد از دیدارت ایوانم چو شمع
