ابرهای مسافر به کجا میروید
خورشید در کمین است
آرزوها با باد به کجامیروید
آینده بی گریز است
این رطوبت جوانی را به کجا میبرید
خشکی پیری در کمین است

Black & White
by Orang Gholikhani on Thu Feb 12, 2009 12:08 PM PSTThanks Azarine and Princess Jan
Black & White don't existe and good or bad are not always seperate. Do you know this story :
Jesus said everything is Love
Marx said everything is Capital
Freud said everything is Sex
and arriving Einstein, he said it depends because everything is Relativity.
Sun, cloude, people could be good or bad depending from where you are looking at them.
I'm becoming sage with age ;-)

Orang jan,
by Princess on Thu Feb 12, 2009 01:10 AM PSTMy reading of this beautiful and poignant poem is: to the degree we hold on, we suffer. Youth and aging are both part of the process. One is not better than the other. Once we let go of that value judgement, and let go of nostalgia, we cease to suffer.
Very hard to do, but in my humble opinion a very worthy aspiration.
Thanks for the reminder! :)
Lovely!
by Azarin Sadegh on Wed Feb 11, 2009 06:59 PM PSTI liked a lot the idea of "khorshid dar kamin ast"...Very original!
I had rarely seen the light and the sun being used as an "evil" force! But you explain it well when you wish that those traveling clouds bring rain and humidity as the symbol of eternal youth!
Very nice! Azarin
