Great man

I remember his speeches and words during 1979 and I wished him to succeed. However as always there is in our country good men never prevail but dogs like Khomeini manage to brain wash ignorant bunch to do their dirty deeds. RIP Bakhtiar.

مراسم بیستمین سالگرد قتل دکتر شاپور بختیار و سروش کتیبه ساعت ۴ بعد از ظهر روز شنبه ۶ ماه اوت برابر با ۱۵ مردادماه در آرامگاه مونپارناس پاریس برگذار می گردد.

There will be a public gathering at the Montparnasse cemetery in Paris tomorrow (Saturday) at 4:00 PM by his tomb as a ceremony of commemoration for the late Bakhtiar.

I'm glad.

That's the case for many people from what I see.
I hope one day Iranians will realize his true value and that of his thoughts and actions.

As Human Bakhtiar (a relative of his) put it, "In my opinion, Shapour Bakhtiar's insistence on the priciple of secularism and the introduction of this idea into the political dialog in Iran is the most valuable side of his political legacy; a service that, if not more valuable than the nationalization of oil, is not less."

Respect

As time goes by my respect for him grows. He was a true democrat.
