Some of you may have seen my previous video (iranian.com/main/blog/people-you-think-you-kno...) which was not met with the warmest of receptions. Your comments have helped me realize how sensitive a subject Iranian politics are: very literally, lives are at stake. I thank you for your input - your feedback helps me shape my movie as I continue to work on it.

I will be using the shorts I have been posting here (and on my website) to eventually put together a feature-length documentary. Here is my first attempt at combining the scenes from the website to create a new sequence. This will be the process I will use to put together the documentary. If you've already been following my videos, some of these scenes will look familiar… but together they add up to create a more cohesive message about the Green Movement in Iran as a part of the larger movement of people wresting power from their governments throughout the world.

I have officially started fundraising for my documentary. Visit www.kickstarter.com/projects/kamalizad/people-you-... to find out more and see how you can help. You can also watch another brand new video that sums up what "People You Think You Know" is all about, get a recipe to my favorite (Rashti) Iranian dish and much more!

If you like my videos so far, please consider making a pledge. Also, please spread the word to your friends and family who may also be interested in the project.

Cheers,

Alborz Kamalizad

P.S.: Hopefully this time I won't be accused of making an Ahmadinejad propaganda video. That one really hurt. But I now understand the reason for the confusion.
