I read this article: //www.theatlantic.com/international/archive/2...
and the following paragtaph was most striking.
"After all, China and India were the world's two largest economies in 1700, and as late as 1820 China's economy was larger than the combined economies of all of Europe. The question of why the West emerged as the world's most powerful civilization beginning in the sixteenth century, and thus was able to impose its will on China and India, has been widely debated. Essentially, the answer is firepower. As the late Samuel P. Huntington put it, "The West won the world not by the superiority of its ideas or values or religion . . . but rather by its superiority in applying organized violence. Westerners often forget this fact; non-Westerners never do."

Excuse me, where I said
by rrrezz on Mon Oct 01, 2012 08:41 AM PDTExcuse me, where I said "the invention of the printing machine, or observing the laws which dictates the fall of an apple to the ground was based on violence"? The paragraph is talking about domination of China and India.
And Hazratkesh is someone who moves the hazrats around; just like a ***kesh who carries whores to their destination. [And what is the similarity between hazrats and whores? That's for you to think about.] And who sais that the name of my blog must have a meaning? Don't forget that "Yes, we can" and "We don't appologize for our method of life".
Thanks for your input though.
PS. The strking thing was that the economies of the two countries were together larger than that of European countries.

by First Amendment on Sun Sep 30, 2012 12:30 PM PDTI leave the argument to our learned friends............I will follow every word, though...........there will be, I'm pretty sure, something for the curious mind to learn............and I'm certain someone will explain whether or not the invention of the printing machine, or observing the laws which dictates the fall of an apple to the ground was based on violence..................................something like that.........Now........
Since we're friends............I cordially encourage you to either change the"Z" to an "S", or the "E" to an "O"..........Hazratkesh, seemingly has no meaning in Farsi...............Trust me.
