"In 1923 Vladimir Jabotinsky, leading intellectual of the Zionist movement and father of the right wing of that movement, wrote: "Zionist colonization must either stop, or else proceed regardless of the native population. Which means that it can proceed and develop only under the protection of a power that is independent of the native population - behind an The Iron Wall , which the native population cannot breach." First published in Russian under the title O Zheleznoi Stene in Rassvyet, 4 November 1923. From that day these words became the official and unspoken policy of the Zionist movement and later the state of Israel. Settlements were used from the beginning to create a Zionist foothold in Palestine. The Iron Wall documentary exposes this phenomenon and follows the timeline, size, population of the settlements, and its impact on the peace process. This film also touches on the latest project to make the settlements a permanent fact on the ground; the wall that Israel is building in the West Bank and its impact on the Palestinian people." - From Google Video

This documentary is essential viewing and brilliantly exposes the Israeli apartheid wall/illegal land grab for what it is. The apartheid wall was unequivocally condemned by the International Court of Justice in July 2004 as illegal. The wall is in violation of the Fourth Geneva Convention, which forbids any occupying power from transferring any part of its civilian population into territories seized by military force. The wall is projected to be at least three and a half times as long as Israel's internationally recognized border and cuts directly through Palestinian villages, breaking up families and dividing farmland. Some 375,000 Palestinians have been included on the 'Israeli' side of the wall. Moreover, the apartheid wall completely encircles the Palestinian city of Qalqiliya and its 45,000 inhabitants, with the overwhelming majority of their land and one third of their water supply unlawfully seized by the Israelis. Many communities have been bulldozed. The concrete and electrified fencing materials are supplemented by two-meter-deep trenches, roads for patrol vehicles, electronic ground and fence sensors, thermal imaging and video cameras, sniper towers and razor wire and are all situated on Palestinian land.

Good Job Israel!!

Dast -e-Israel dard nakoneh. Khoob Kari Mikoneh....

I just wish that Israel had walled it off back in the 80's so that the ability of your Arab Palestinian brothers to travel to Iraq to fight alongside the Iraqi troops against Iran would have been reduced a little bit....but unfortunately it did not happen, and your oppressed and beloved Palestianians made it to Iraq in droves to help the Iraqis bomb our cities, and kill, wound and rape our people....

the wall of shame and hate

by fed-up (not verified) on

This wall is the proof of race supremecy and hatred of jews for anyone who does not share their tainted blood. If the Nazis had built a wall to keep the jews away from the white germans, they'd be crying about it for decades.

it's shameful

... you are correct. The wall has proven to have been the right decision. It has saved many innocent lives already.

That wall is in place to protect Isreali citizens and has worked. The best thing Isreal has done.
