Brothers & Sisters
by salman farsi on Mon Oct 17, 2011 01:26 AM PDTThank you for your replies to my question. I don't know why I received some unkind replies on the blog of brother Divaneh and Roozbeh but as we say in Islam "vallaho aelam."
Sister Soosan
I am so sad that you are about to leave us even though it is a short absence. I wish you health and good fortune wherever you go and whatever you wish to do. Please come back soon. You are so dear to me sister.
Brother VPK
Thanks again brother. I still have no idea about the fate of Tabarzin but I shall miss him if he is indeed banned. As sister Soosan quoted from Hafez: "we should not argue if the foe is at fault".
Brother/Sister Oon Yaroo
In a true democracy you should be tolerant enough to allow your opponents say their words although their words may be against the spirit of democracy (spirit according to you). You are not still ready for a demcratic process to take shape brother (or was it sister?).

by Soosan Khanoom on Sun Oct 16, 2011 06:23 PM PDTI am not going to leave for good but just for a while .... Thank you so much for your kind words ...
I wholeheartly agree with you and I do understand your frustration with certain people on this site. As you have mentoned, this is not a case with the younger generation. Hopefully they are more tolerant .
As you have tried to do it numerous times on this site, We should all try to defend the truth reagrdless of who is speaking of it , the friend or the foe ...
حافظ! ار خصم خطا گفت نگیریم بر او
ور به حق گفت جدل با سخن حق نکنیم
Thanks Shepesh
by Soosan Khanoom on Sun Oct 16, 2011 06:19 PM PDTI will be back .... hopefuly with lots of pictures to share and many stories to tell ....

Dear SK
by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on Sun Oct 16, 2011 10:34 AM PDTShepesh is right if you get that error the account is blocked. A few things:
This is a very interesting microcosm of our greater society. Some people specially the older generation do not understand freedom. Their idea of freedom is they get to speak and no one else. Or at least no one in opposition.
Thankfully the younger generation is better. A benefit of being raised in the West is experiencing freedom of speech. The older generation specially in LA just hang out with each other. So they have never got beyond their own little world.
We recently had an opportunity to buy my parents a house in LA. My father said no thanks. I asked him why not; don't you want to be around more Iranians. He told me not the crowd in Tehrangeles.
I am not trying to generalize just telling you what he said.
Please do not go or there will just be right and far right.
VPK

So if we delete
by Soosan Khanoom on Sun Oct 16, 2011 10:06 AM PDTall of our blog entries then what will happen?
But you may be right actually ... perhaps , at least, we will have something to show up anyway ... our names , avatar , etc ...
Ok .....NOW, if he was really blocked then that is a huge loss for this site ... But it gives the IC commentators more chance to sing like a bunch of canaries for each other and in each other's praise ... Don't you love this Lovey dovey crowd?...
I should leave before I get blocked ..... LOL
well .... I am leaving anyway .... This is my last week commenting ... i am heading toward another continent .. another world and I will be travelling for a while and i am not sure i can get any chance to stop by on this site ... My abscence for sure makes those canaries even more happy ...

Dear Salman
by Soosan Khanoom on Sun Oct 16, 2011 09:41 AM PDTOne can delete all his or her entries and just leave and you wll get the same Error message when you check their blog site.
Couldn't it be possible that he has decided to not spend his "Precious Time" here anymore especailly in such a hostile environment ?
In any case, he was a great Contributor and shall be truly missed by many of us... and I hope that he , himself, reconsiders his return.
Dear Oon Yaroo
by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on Sun Oct 16, 2011 09:36 AM PDTYou raise a very good point and is tough to debate it. My response is "because we need different opposing voices". What I am seeing is fewer voices on IC all the time. One day a rightist is gone; next day a leftist. Then another person.
With each one the whole site becomes a bit less interesting. I find myself taking positions I don't agree with just so there is an "opposing voice". For example on PressTV or NIAC. If you note now most blog post are in agreement. We get no variety and I tell you my friend. I like to blog; to read and write opinions. IC is getting so homogenized that is barely worth reading. I am searching for other Iranian sites that offer more variety.
Do we want a site with a single voice? Because that is where IC is heading and is almost there already. If you recall I was for bringing back both Sam and RG.
While a go Anonymous Observer...
by Oon Yaroo on Sun Oct 16, 2011 09:23 AM PDTMany folks rallied behind this request and RG was finally unblocked!
Below is what Tabarzin said!?

God bless you brother VPK

Bring Back Tabarzin
by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on Sun Oct 16, 2011 12:42 AM PDTI found Tabarzin to be a fine member of this site. Why is he blocked? What did he do to warrant it. I personally know far more offensive "contributors" to IC. I will not mention their names. But I will say that one of them threatened to beat me to a pulp. A criminal act by American law. He is still writing and was never blocked. Another one made very offensive attacks on me; as well as all Iranians. He is fine and blogging. Why is Tabarzin blocked? Double standards.

by salman farsi on Sun Oct 16, 2011 12:21 AM PDTIf you click on his account page:

You get an Error . This means he is blocked,
