I read about the shahpour,s mom.some other place..May be you should send that info to regimes education ministry to update next year Iran,s history books for grade 8 and up. you think they will print it? may be when monkeys fly.cheers dude!

Parthians were the inspiration for the Maccabees. The Sassanids provided the Jews with a government in exile with a chief rabbi and a king in exile (prince of Judah-Exilarch-Resh Galuta) and Jewish army garrison for their entire period. The Babylonian Talmud was compiled under the protection of the Persian empire, and at least 2 Sassanid kings had Jewish mothers from the Davidic royal line. (Shapur II, and Bahram V)
