Mostaghe and Soufi

by Anonymousss (not verified) on

One piece of his pashm was worth a thousand of your type of people! He was more of a man than you two stooges could ever dream of being, ever!

Lol! Eat your hearts out because it's true! And you know it too!

Never mind this inquiring mind and few other bunch of anti-iranian parasites on this forum. They are always looking for something to pick a fight. I don't know what is wrong with them. May be Akhoonds are bothering them too much (if you know what I mean)!

Inquiring mind

by Souri on

Dear,

If you read my comment well, this one was a reply to Shining Head's direct question from me.

The question was : How the gays or lesbians do sex together !! And I answered I don't know and this question was indeed, off topic.

That had nothing to do with your comment and what you had said previously.
Someone has deleted Shining Head's comment (now being back !!)

I believe that someone intelligent, had flagged her comment/question as being offensive ??

Anyway, sorry for the misunderstanding, although it was not my fault .

As to mixing apple and oranges: not sure if you have got my point. I was telling that Farrokhzad's being gay was not a secret to the world.

Please take my advice very friendly, do never assume something from someone else's parole, when it is not clearly stated. You can always ask more explanation to get the confirmation first.

You don't need to take an angry tone when debating .

Thank you for posting this

Thank you for posting this and bringing fond memories back.  He was a great man and a patriot.

I recall seeing him, one night at a restaurant called the “White Horse” in Mahmood  Abaad (The North), in 1970 I believe. His presence captivated the audience.  With his usual humble manner he introduced a young singer he had discovered to appear on stage, that night for the first timem, and then left the stage.  The young timid man, taken over by stage fright stayed in the shadows of the back end of the stage, but his voice got the attention of people.  Fereydoon walked back onto the stage and ushered the young singer into the spotlight and stayed by him till he finished his act.  A week later he brought the same man on his show, meekhake noghreie.  That act jump started the career of Dariush.  He helped so many other young singers get started by bringing them on his show.

Today though, I stand in awe of his brave stance against the IRI, and his intellectual mastery of the pitiful state of the diseased mind of the mullah.  He will be remembered in the same light as Mirza Agha khan Kermani (beheaded for his writings) and Ahmad Kasravi (shot to death for his writings).

To SOURI

by Inquiring minds (not verified) on

If I am not mistaken, you were the one who brought up the subject of him being out of closet (quite off the topic). what did it have to do with his being butchered? Beats me maybe your reasons are the same as this guy's or gal's "mostaghel" who pretends ignorance now.

You were the one who started mixing apples and oranges. Remeber!

Strange creatures we are!

by Mordeh parast (not verified) on

When he was alive, a lot of people, specially among expatriates in LA, who now mourn his death, badmouthed him, cursed him and ridiculed his sexual orientation. Now that he's butchered by mullahs' thugs and gone and thank God, is not alive to see all this hypocrisy, everybody sheds "crocodile" tears for him. May he rest in peace. Iranian people did not deserve him.

Farokhzad

He was one great man who did not fear the IRI. He openly opposed and criticized the IRI without any reservation or care for his own safety.

Another fallen hero of Iran who will be remembered by future generations.

In 1989 i was working at iranian clothing boutique in munich germany..He was a regular visitor due his friendship with the owner Mr: Vosoghi.. one day out of curiosity i asked him about music and his talk show,,he was so grateful and funny, tjhat led to more questio,. Every time he walked into the store i had a question. One day he jokingly asked Mr: vosogh the owner to fire. he said; BABA IN PESAREH MANO GAID INGHADER SOAL MIKONEH..,,later when i moved to state and heard that he was killed by Iranian secret service i truly got sadden,,he was true to his heart and soul,,a funny man..he hated liars and ass kisser,,i thank him for his bright advise ..i learned so much from him and because of him i fell more and more in love with MY COUNTRY IRAN and being PERSIAN..God bless his soul and to me he was a true hero and real martyr..

Fereydoun Farrokhzad was a great man I always admire.

He was one of the most misunderstood, like Mehdi Akhavan Saales among some others.

Thanks for remembering him.
