Why do people want to reform myth and fairytales. Both Islam and Christianity are myths. Not very good ones at that. I prefer Greek myths by far. More interesting and by far more colorful. Norse myths are next; names of the week days are based on them. I also like the Celtic myths. The Abrahamic myths are boring and cruel. I see no fun in them.

could be because to start with christiniaty was promoted by an empire, Roman one. This gave it a good start.
