In this video, I have intermingled images from Israel and Iran.
As you are viewing the video, you may find it hard to tell the difference from one country to the other... and that is perhaps because you are noticing the similarities, rather than searching for the differences.
At the time of my putting this video together, we are dangerously close to hostilities breaking out between Israel and Iran... and the consequences of such action, could prove to be catastrophic for everyone on this planet !
Building on 'similarities'... rather than focusing on 'differences'... is one of the key requirements for our peaceful coexistence as human beings. We need to respect each other, and accept that as individuals, we are going to have our differences of opinion... and unless we can learn to sort out those differences in a peaceful and friendly manner... we will eventually find our hostile actions toward each other will have devastating consequences.
What happened to Hiroshima and Nagasaki toward the end of the second world war, is an example of 'devastating consequences'... and with at least eight countries now in possession of Nuclear Weapons, we may well find ourselves with a situation far worse than anything we have experienced in the past... and we need to seriously consider what effect such actions are going to have on our planet !
The possession of Nuclear Weapons by any country is something that should be frowned upon by the International Community, because of the damage that such weapons cause to the planet on which we need to live.
Iran is accused of endeavouring to manufacture Nuclear Weapons... and Israel, who itself is strongly believed to possess such weapons, is threatening to attack Iran.
If anything at all has be learnt from what happened to Hiroshima and Nagasaki... then now is the time to prove our intelligence, by demanding that all countries currently in possession of Nuclear Weapons, dismantle those weapons... and all countries endeavouring to manufacture Nuclear Weapons, put an end to those endeavours.
As an International Community, our future is dependent upon our ability to coexist in a manner that does not threaten the destruction of our planet... and 'now' is the time to unite, and in one voice, speak out against any country that fails to strive toward a Nuclear-Free World !!!

by Free Thinker (not verified) on Wed Jul 02, 2008 08:47 AM PDTKhomeini's anti-Israeli rantings, Rafsanjani and Khatami's secret nuclear technology projects and activities and Ahmadinejad's annhilation of Israel speech, we are now on an irreversible path to war.
The author says nice words like (though pitifully impractical):
"...then now is the time to prove our intelligence, by demanding that all countries currently in possession of Nuclear Weapons, dismantle those weapons... and all countries endeavouring to manufacture Nuclear Weapons, put an end to those endeavours."
But we should have thought about it 20 years ago. Now, it is too little, too late.
Iranians have no problem with Israel.
by Zeynab on Tue Jul 01, 2008 03:54 PM PDTIt is the crazy IRI that is trying to start a war with Israel. They think that they can bring back the glory of old times, like when salahuddin captured jerusalem. They are foolish ,you can not bring the dead back!!!!

Consider the huge differences and animosity between the old Soviet Union and USA, they went to the brink of nuclear disaster several times, but logic and reason prevailed.
I wished we had capable politicians who could also work toward the goodness and interest of IRAN rather than ARABS and pushing their agenda and filling their pockets and bank accounts by inticing Iran's vast population of illeterates and manipulating their religious beliefs and dressing up their war mongering and thirst for control under the rotten "chador" of Islam.
