My girl friend and I have reciently moved to the Bay Area from midwest, we were all excited about finally leaving that shitty part of the states and commign to continue our education here at Berkeley, we have been here since July, but unfortunatly I have not been able to find a "bahal" and "Educated" Iranian friend. although my girl friend was successful finding a number of young Iranian ladies.
I'm just wondering where are all those amazing Iranians that we dreamed about, any Sharif graduate around here in his mid 20's? any young engineer out there up for a chat and drink? any young couple who like to hang out with another young couple?
Babajan, man mordam az tanhayee
Anyways, I'll be looking forward to find a friend to hang out with, I am a PhD student in Cal interested in technology and cursing in khomeini's name, anyone inetersted?

Most sharif studetns I met
by Behzadx (not verified) on Mon Nov 10, 2008 01:08 PM PSTMost sharif studetns I met in california were arrogant and selfish and did whatever to take advantage of others.
One who was my former boss and got phd from stanford was the biggest liar and .... i have ever seen.
They used sharif campus and resources and left the country and took the chances from others who were vatanparast, so i have little respect for them
.
I did not pass konkoor and did not use my country's resources and came out as a young man and all i owe is to USA and not iran, so i have to thqank those who gave me the opportunity to excel.
Stay away from some bosses like the evil man.
advice from a former cal student
by Anonymous95 (not verified) on Mon Nov 10, 2008 11:37 AM PSTother than joining isco and isaa, try taking an advanced persian class if you have extra time or maybe a persian decal class. also, just by hanging out/studying at FSM, Milano, Strada, and I-House cafes you're bound to meet persians esp evenings. the persian center also hosts a lot of student-friendly events i suppose the next upcoming event will be the annual persian thanksgiving celebration. good luck
