Please write to your MP/Congressman and damenad for the trial and execution of the following for war crimes:

20. Mohammad Taqi Mesbah Yazdi Criminal profile:  Terrorist cleric and
known to be spiritual adviser to criminal Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Pleaded
with members of the revolutionary guard and the Basiji movement to
crush the protest movement of June09 using any means possible

21. Ebrahim Yazd  Criminal Profile: Former ‘veteran’ of the so-called
revolution of 1979. Stirred up anti-shah hysteria from abroad and
played a role in the execution of officials of the His Majesty the
Shah’s government. For a long time Yazdi has been the ‘official voice
of the opposition’ in Iran but his blood stained history cannot go un
punished.

22. Mohammad Kahatami- Criminal profile:   Former President of the
Islamic Republic and supposed ‘pioneer’ of the reform movement in Iran.
During Khatami’s presidency, Iran had the longest number of political
executions of journalists and opponents of the regime including Dariush
Forouhar and his wife as well as the chain of notorious  chain killings
(Ghatlaye Zanjiri). Khatami was either complicit in the murders or
powerless to stop the killings by rogue members of the Iranian security
forces. Either way, Khatami continued and has continued to defend the
Islamic Republic both abroad and inside the country.

23. Mir Hussein - Mousavi. Criminal Profile: Charlatan and mass
murderer. Mir Hossein Mousavi alongside the deceased terrorist
Ayatollah Beheshti helped found Hezbollah in 1979 and was appointed
Prime Minister of Khomeini from 1981. During the term of his
premiership mass executions took place either with his knowledge or at
his instigation. The early nineteen eighties were the height of
atrocities committed by the terrorist occupying regime of Ayatollah
Khomeini. Supporters of Mousavi to this day defend his records as Prime
Minister saying that he was powerless to stop executions which then
begs the question that if the real power in the country belongs to
other elements such as the Supreme Leader and Council of Guardians then
why did he mislead people into believing he could reform the country?
Mousavi is a shrewd manipulator of popular mass aspirations and even
though he denounced the regime as being ‘more bloodier than the Shah’
he continues to defend the Islamic Republic he helped establish. There
is no public record of statements made by Mousavi HAVING ever condemned or
regretted the eXCESSES carried out during his premiership

24. Mohammad ali Jafari-Criminal profile:   Terrorist Commander in Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards

25. Mohammed Hejazei - Bigadier Criminal profile:  General of the terrorist Islamic Revolutionary Guards.

26. Mostafa Mohammad Najar- Criminal profile:  Current Minister of Interior for the terrorist Islamic regime

27. Ahmad Vahidi- Criminal profile:  Defence Minister of the terrorist
regime and wanted by Interpol for a bombing of a Jewish centre in
Argentina which left 85 people dead.

28. Kamran Daneshjoo- Criminal profile:  The so-called minister of
‘Education’. Daneshjoo wants the Universities to eliminate secular
elements which he claims to be ‘subversive’. He added that universities
in Iran must rear students who will be willing followers of the Mahdi
(Imam Zaman).

29. Hossein Taeb - Criminal profile:  Head of the Basiji movement of
the Islamic Terrorist Republic. Blamed the West for instigating
protests and hiring mercenaries to infiltrate the Green protest
movement. Baiji were hated and despised by the Iranian people and one
of its members opened fire and murdered Neda Agha Soltani

30. Mohammed Morandi Criminal profile: So-called Professor of politics
at Tehran University. Defended executions of protesters of summer 09
and recently the stoning of  Sakineh Ashtani.Dangerous propagandist of
a terrorist Islamic state.

oh there's plenty of justice to be dished out, am sure.

but you know, somewhere the cycle has to be broken. you know what i mean?

I agree over executions. There should be none for anyone. However there should be repercussions specially financial. These Mollah robbers love nothing more than wealth. Taking their wealth and making them do real work is the best punishment. I suggest the guilty be put to jail and made to work. Plenty of work to be done chipping rocks and making license plates :-}

Veiled Prophet of Khorasan

When

by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on

people opted for an "Islamic Republic" 30 + years ago they should have known. They should have thought this would be the inevitable result. But instead they fooled themselves and sold the future of their children to Mollahs. They followed Shariati's vision into hell itself and dragged their unwilling children kicking and screaming behind them.

Now asking a group of corrupt American congressmen is not going to help. This thing will resolve itself in time. It will cost a lot more people. The Mollahs will not go "ba zaboone khosh". Nor would reconciliation be possible.

I don't know the right solution. But I know that neither the Mollahs nor the Americans are worried about Iran.

no executions

by Niloufar Parsi on

i don't believe in them. this is what makes (should make) us different from the regime.

but no doubt there are plenty of the criminal types that should be dealt with.

yet, selling your county out to the american congress is a form of treason.

Those videos were interesting - I particularly enjoyed Chavez's dressing down by Rey Juan Carlos.

However, I still do not see eye to eye with you as to how attempting a South African reconciliation approach towards the Mullahs will be of any benefit. I am sure you know better than anyone else that when the Shah showed clemency towards Khomeini by exiling him twice (even Saddam Hussein asked the Shah persmission to kill him in Iraq) he repaid the kindness by executing Nasiri and Pakravan. The latter was known to have been against executing Khomeini and even sat down and had lunch with him.

I respectfully say that it is very naive to believe that reconciliation will work with memebrs of the Islamic Republic officials. As they say in farsi: 'Ina hargez adam nemishan'. Killing is in their DNA.

You speak words of wisdom sir.

I notice the corporal has learnt from you and increased his IT skills to add videos to his comments - I guess its true: imitation is the sincerest form of flattery - specially for a hezbollah wannabe.

NP - perhaps you should stay with your blog on political economy or what not - it'd be a shame if this one gets filled with your multiple posts on your random thoughts and generally inaccurate "facts".

I agree about Yazdi although I never knew his American connection. I imagine his children are livingin blissful ignorance of the crimes of their father. I honestly could not care about his health and he should be dragged into a court from his death bead carrying an oxygen mask if needs be. He should not escape punishment in this life or the next.

I oppose death penalty, but all else I agree

by mahmoudg on

These elements must be brought to trial for crimes against humanity.  In the hopes that a Western Sytle court of jurisprudence will condemn these people to life.  I just hope Ibrahim Yazdi would survive his cancer long enough so Iranians can get their hand on him.  I hear his son and daughter live somewhere in Pittsburg.  I never forget his son could not even speak Farsi when he was enrolled in our American school.  A private school, the likes of Yazdi (Islamists) considered dirty.  Dirty for all else other than their own children.  His daughter Sara was the only girl in the school with headscarf on, those early days of this dreadful "devolution".  I am sure they were psychologically scarred because of their fathers' actions.

There will always be terror and an 'eye for eye' mentality so long as there is an Islamic country run by Shaiah law. This is unavoidable. The Islamists are like pitbulls; killing is ingrained into their DNA. Did the clemency showed by the Shah towards Khomeini mellow his murderous temperament? Of course, not.

But if truth and reconciliation work in South Africa and then maybe sanctions can also work against Iran in view of the fact that it helped end white only rule. Hmmmmmm.

The crimes perpetrated by the people in the list is well documented. I hope you are not suggesting for one moment that there could be room for doubt that a man like Khamenei or a Sepah commander is innocent? The evidence against these specific people in this list  is so overwhelming and that the outcome is a foregone conclusion. The onus is on them to prove they are innocent as their guilt has already been established. The chances of that happenig are slim so that is why the death penalty should be issued out. After their execution then the death penalty should be abolished. I emphasise that the death penalty should only be considered for the biggest criminals of the IR.

If the United States were to extend its targeted assassination policy beyond Iraq's borders  (which I hope they will) then the criminals in this list are ideal candidates. As you are aware in a time of war you shoot first and then ask questions later.

You say that I am proposing revenge on the enemies ofIran but nothing could be further from the truth. If I were to advocate revenge then I would emulate the behaviour of the Islamic Republic: arrest family members of political opponents and then kill them off.

There can be no reconciliation with these criminals. They are on par with the Nazis in terms of atrocities.

Darius Kadivar

In a fair trial one is Innocent until proven guilty ...

by Darius Kadivar on

Or vice versa depending on a given country's juridiction ...

So announcing the sentance particularly an execution before the trial has even taken place and the accused allowed to defend themselves seems like an odd way of defending the principle of justice to which any civilized nation and people would want to aspire ...

Even the Nazi Criminals were given a fair trial:

//www.youtube.com/watch?v=FPXc8JjtidM

remarkably despite the horrendous collateral damages infllcted to the world by the Nazis only 11 were hanged for their crimes. The rest were condemned to life imprisonment some of whom were set free after 20 years as was the case for Albert Speer, hitler's minister of War and favorite architect.

JUSTICE is the Key Word here NOT REVENGE however tempting ...

For even After all this time it won't bring her father back:

BOOK: EVEN AFTER ALL THIS TIME By Afschineh Latifi ( A Memoir )

Will it ? ...

No more than for other innocent families who lost their loved ones because of this wretched Republic and it's henchmen ...
