if a government has the support of its people no Super Power in this world can bring that government down. No one on earth can win over the power of people . Unfortunately the regime in Iran had lost its popularity. At least the popularity it had during 80s when they had young revolutionary generation still hot in their passion for them and we saw how that generation fought the war almost empty handed against all the superpowers who were backing up Saddam. Also just a few years before the start of the war we all have witnessed how those young passanate hearts walked on front of the Shah's tanks and entire army with no fear, absolutely no fear at all , as the result brought down one of the most powerful dictator of the time to its knees. But those days are gone .......... The IRI was unjust to many opposition groups right from the start and it has also been unjust to its own supporters by sending them one by one to prison. In addition to that they have been denying the basic human rights to their own youths. The youth today are basically left with no passion for this regime. I do not think so they have an honest supporter left for them. Only uneducated brainwashed mases who are having their head stuck in the Jamkaraan well instead of the countires current problems. This regime has no respect for its own people and once a government reach to that point then it will be rotten from inside. Now the superpowers like any opportunistic parasite may have their eyes on Iran and that is to take advantages from this mess but honestly I hope that Iranian people this time after going through almost every possible scenarios within last several decades are going to be wise enough to not let anything but a true secular democracy comes their way. In terms of U.S invasion ......... I think if that happens then Iranian people will lose any chance to achieve their true democracy and they will end up with an already appointed poppet. I also think giving the fact that we have enough zealots in Iran to fight with the U.S ....... U.S may never even dare to do that ...... So if anyone here wants to achieve democracy ...... we should do it through right channels and that is education and enlightenment of the masses against the regime injustices....... if you are smart enough you can turn the table without going through a civil war ....... Ciivl war may make many happy but it is no good for both Iranians and Iran .........

Recoined terms and words
by Rostam on Thu Mar 24, 2011 01:38 AM PDTIRI's supporters slogan used to be: "gradual change from within"...
Now that it has become clear that would never happen, we are inevitabley forced to read new pro-IRI anti-revolution materials and repackaged and newly coined words and terms such as "with education" and "enlightenment of the masses."
Thank you to both of you

by Everybody Loves Somebody ... on Tue Mar 22, 2011 08:50 AM PDTThe governments can have the support of their constituents and still be subjected to malicious PR and collapse...
The (d)evolutionaries of the 80's in Iran had the support of the ignorant masses because Khomeini had promised them free gasoline, free electricity, free water, free etc....
And it only took the idiot masses 10 years to realize that all those free things were "unrealizable".... Get it...
IRR is a cancer augmented with AIDS that has to annihilated...
Iranians do not have the means to rid themselves from IRR therefore it has to be done with he help of US of A.... Big Bang Boombing...
