Some of you have been trying to call me NP in every opportunity you get since I have joined ( almost a year ago ). I am also so disappointed at many others whom unwillingly are falling for this non-sense. So Finally I decided to do some research on NP. I have been digging into some of her old posts in order to see what it is in her writings that make you all think I am she. I should say that I have found her very articulate, informed, and knowledgeable in many topics that she wrote and for that matter alone I'm quite relieved or better say I am honored. I wish I knew why she is not an active member anymore. In any case I wish her the best. I have also found her rooting for IRI on several occasions. I should add that even if one is an IRI supporter that is not a crime. Although I do not think so she was. Whether we like it or not there are still many IRI supporters in Iran who are the people of that country. And,no, not all of them are thieves or criminals but rather ordinary people. The difference between some of you, who are very eager to label me at any chance you get, and me is that I do not wish a war upon them. I certainly do not wish them dead but rather alive and fully awake from this nightmare. To do so we should be able to get them engaged. We should be able to debate things with them and make them see things that they are not able to see due to their unconditional support and loyalty. That is the only way to a permanent change. If opposition inside Iran, today, is anything like us here on IC then there is no hope for unity and for having more people on board and as the result there is no hope for having a democratic government. You can continue calling me NP or X, Y, and Z, but that is not going to solve any problem or change the real person in me who has nothing to do with any of those characters. By the way, HSK is my real initials and " Darya " is my pen name as a poet ... Me and some of my poet friends are in the process of publishing an anthology and once the book is out I will let you know. It is going to be sometime by the end of December or early next year.

The admin is the final judge. Please do me a favor and repost it. I could go and start flagging everything the bully posts. It is not that hard. We have some real pieces of work here. Honestly if these gang were to take over they will be worse than IRI.

by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on Tue Sep 27, 2011 07:30 PM PDTI agree with you that Reza Pahlavi is the best hope. But the issue with RP is self made. Reza Pahlavi just does not seem to have what it takes. He does not do anything. I would support him and other people would..
But he does not organize or rally his people. The other problem is he is a patriot. Western neocon do not want a patriot. They want a stooge to sell out Iran. Reza Pahlavi refused to do so on many occasions. Therefore they prefer sellout MEK.
SK there is hope, even though it is slim
by Siavash300 on Tue Sep 27, 2011 07:13 PM PDT" it happened and yes we paid a lot afterwards but there was nothing we could do." Soosan Khanoom
I think we can do something and that is supporting prince Reza Pahlavi to take the office. The same life style that you are yearning will get repeated again once Crown Reza takes the office. The same life style our country men/women can enjoy again. Fatima (aka Niloofar) could go out with half way decent Iranian man rather than hang out with Arabs and you can put your bathing suit and jump into the sea while you are listening to Googoosh music.
Funny part is all shah's opponents were from upper middle class families. I was the only one who respected him in my heart. Unlike you, I was from "working class" or "poor family". When I was attending Fadaeyan meetings in Aryamehr university, I noticed a guy who dressed like a che guevara. He took off with a very fansy car at the end of the meeting. Seems Marx made a big mistake when he wrote his book "Das capital".

by Soosan Khanoom on Tue Sep 27, 2011 03:51 PM PDTmany of us, especially those who lived a good life during Shah , are yearning for those good old days.... I,myself, lived a rich life . I do anything to go back to the Villa we used to have by the sea in Darya Kenar and just put on my bathing suit jump into the sea while listening to googoosh song being played by radio Draya ... oh good old days ... but while I was enjoying a luxrous life many were not ... I always think of revolution as a reaction rather than an action . it happened and yes we paid a lot afterwards but there was nothing we could do. I agree death started to rain on us even more and we lost so many kids not only to the war but also to the various political groups that they fell for and the unspeakable consequences they faced in hands of IRI ... and that is indeed so sad ...
Dear Siavash
by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on Tue Sep 27, 2011 03:27 PM PDTI really understand you and your feelings. My feelings towards Neda are as yours are. But there are distasteful people of all variety among us. For example there is a person who is accusing Reza Pahlavi of giving war secrets to Saddam. Then wants him to be hanged! He is not a part of IRI. Rather he claims to be pro democracy! I just want to tell you so you know there are IRI is not alone. Imagine these guys taking power. The first thing to do will be executions. Just like IRI.
Others on IC are just as intolerant. If they get the upper hand it will be the same thing. I know IRI is evil and I want it gone. But I am adding a note of warning. Just because someone says they are a democrat does not make them good.
Dear VPK I understand your frustration
by Soosan Khanoom on Tue Sep 27, 2011 03:52 PM PDTAccusation and labelling serve two purposes and those who are doing it are well aware .
1) It will eventually wear the wrongly accused person off to the point that he or she will quit posting on this site for ever
2 ) It will prevent people, who happen to be agree with the accused person on that specific topic, from making any further supportive comment for the fear of being accused themselves..
So not only they are getting rid of the wrongly accused person but they also shut everyone up...
This great bullying tactic is usually used by people who are losing an argument. Otherwise why would they feel the need to label or accuse their opponents? It is a shame ..
All we need on this site is more brave people to stand up against these bullies rather than joining them. Cause that behavior is not going to get us anywhere.
How to deal with enemy of our people.?
by Siavash300 on Tue Sep 27, 2011 02:53 PM PDTDear SK,
Whenever I hear the name of "Neda", tears runs in my eyes.
Whenever I hear the brutality, torture and the rape of Taraneh Mousavi the night before her execution, I feel pain in my head.
Whever I hear Sohrab's mother speech, I feel pain in my heart. I wish I could get my hands on his murder.
I think those are normal feelings of any decent human being.
Now, the question is how to deal with those people who intensify these painful feelings. That includes Fatima (aka niloofar) abarmard, researcher or anyone in that category.
I remember you were complaining about thousands and thousands of our youths had been killed either in the war or by execution.
I am sure you're smart and understand all these misery happened after shah left the country.

by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on Tue Sep 27, 2011 02:41 PM PDTThank you for the kind words. I was sort of kidding about Yolanda. But the truth is politness is a good thing. When someone sticks their neck out for me I normally say "Thank you". I don't attack them in return.
You are also right about some people on this site. For example I want you to please read this post
//iranian.com/main/2011/sep/freed-hikers-...
Basically the poster is accusing me and others of being Evin guards. Why: because we disagree with him. This is bullying; libel and shows the kind of "democracy" they want. A democracy where opposition means "criminal". Do you think one person on that side stood up for us: no. The only one who said anything was Iraj Khan. Honestly I don't want their "democracy". I much prefer to sit at a table with you than that crowd of "democrats".
Dear VPK,
by Soosan Khanoom on Tue Sep 27, 2011 02:16 PM PDTOne should only defend " the truth " and it does not matter if it is spoken by a firend or a foe ... which by the way, I know you do. Perhaps that is why the usual gangsters are all over you on this site.

Many of us here enjoy your comments on various topics .
I admit my mistake
by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on Tue Sep 27, 2011 12:39 PM PDTOnce more an Iranian openly admits his mistake with no reservation. In a post here I defended Yolanda just to be attacked by her in another blog. I was wrong to defend her and will not make the mistake again.
Dear Siavash
by Soosan Khanoom on Tue Sep 27, 2011 06:59 AM PDTWhat you wrote pretty much is general when it comes to power, corruption, politics of running a country under dictatorship and having brainwashed / no question asked supporters glued to the state TV. Having said that I should also add, as I have said it many times before, the worst type of dictatorships is the religious ones cause they kill in the name of God and for that mather alone according to them you are not even free after your death but rather spending eternity in hell. There lies the major difference.
Anyway,
Thank you so much for shedding some lights on her personal life ... Still, although she is not my cousin, I think she had the right to be here on this site as much as anyone else. I probably would have gotten myself involved in many discussions and arguments with her cause it seems that we are disagreeing in many things.
But Siavash, you have a point here and that is not the fact that she can not remember shah ( which by the way for some that era was not as glorious as it was for you) but the fact that she never lived her adulthood In Iran under IRI .... My solution for these type of people is to ship them to Iran , let them live for a while over there and then see if they are saying the samethings or not ...
thanks for stopping by
: )
Please describe the feelings
by Siavash300 on Tue Sep 27, 2011 01:09 AM PDTDear SK,
How do you feel someone break into your house and murder your child in a cold blood?
How do you feel to learn that the predator sexually assaulted your child prior to murder act.?
How do you feel to learn the predator was my cousin and I come on I.C and brag about my cousin brave act of murdering your child?
please desribe the feelings and then we go to the next chapter of our discussion.
BTW,
Fatima (AKA Niloofar Parsi) was much younger than you. I say at least 10 years. If I am not mistaking you went to Jandark or similar french high school in Tehran, but Fatima spent her teenage time out of Iran. She didn't remember the glorious and modern days of Iran when shah's was on power because of her age, but you do remember those days. She was on payroll by islamic criminal gang when she worked in Iran's embassy in one of those African countries for a while. That was before she started to work with press T.V in London. I also think she was romantically involved with Arabs. I tried my best to educate her when she was writing none sense. We could come up with some agreements if she was willing to continue discussion.
Sincerely,
Siavash

Dear SK, on philosophy I know exactly where you come from. I have been there. Trying to convince myself religion and science are compatible and all kind of good stuff! But I grow out of that the more I learned. I'd like to think you are on the same path.
At one point I learned I don't need religious morality that comes attached to supernatural and superstitious stuff in order to do the right thing and defend what is just and right.
If I was writting on IC 15 years ago I'd be another SK or may be NP :-)

is totally different than our own struggle or war with the hard liners in Iran..
We are actually fighting two front lines here ...
One with the people who want to bring war and destruction on Iran and one with the people who are not willing to join our struggle to achive democracy in Iran....
I am not sure if we have any choice here but to fight them both rather than choose one over the other ...
your points are well taken

What if she is NP's reincarnation? :-)
She acted like a "gentle"woman in reviewing NP's previous record on IC before drawing a distinction between herself and her!

by Soosan Khanoom on Mon Sep 26, 2011 06:16 PM PDTThis site is packed with people who only think either my way or highway. People who are filled with certain old ideologies or some left over form their past that they are carrying on their shoulders ... Everyone here seems to have a package regardless of the ideology itself . It seems that NP was no exception to this rule either.
We need to get rid of that .. We need to forget the past ... the 70s .. the condition that brough the revolution and in doing so we should not close our eyes to old facts either.
We need to live in NOW and take it as is and if we are not happy with that IS then by learning from our old failed attempts we need to establish something new and totally different. A common ground where every single of us can stand on it. Which can only be achieved via mutual respect. And if those who we are disagree with can not achieve that we should achieve that for our own sake.
Don't forget that I am not her and Please pay more attention to the reason that why I said I am happy to be mistaken with her which has nothing to do with her ideology.
I am not a socialists or a capitalists or the rest of the different groups anything you name it ... I am not a religion basher neither a religion zealot ... I am not for this specific person or that specific person .... I simply try to listen to all and choose the best .... something that make sense.
By the way I was just a kid during revolution so I did not bring anything upon anyone . but i did fall for certain things as i am sure many of us did. But, now, I have the experience that would not allow me to be anyone's die hard fan cause no one and no system of thoughts is ever so perfect to deserve my soul.
