sorry for gate crashing but I have not seen my Pussy cat for good few weeks now and I am rather worried.

it (have no idea about the sex, seems to go both ways...) is a small , yet very fat dark grey cat, likes to steal food, very lazy with tiny , shifty eyes with no signs of intelligence. It answers to the name "mammoot Joon". it makes sounds like meeeeeaaaawwww, fffffffttttttpppppppaaaaaawww, and such , that I, as the owner find rather cute.

MG was not blocked because

because of argument with me. He argued with others and that is why he got blocked. I read this myself. I believe Faramarz is knowledgeable about why MG got blocked.

Siamack/ MG , although, is entitled to take some time off but seems that that's not the case. He has been banned. How intense do you think he got to deserve the banning? I have seen much worse behavior on this site by some members who were more qualified for that sentencing.

I completely understand your frustration.  There is a gang mentality going on here with the idea of report them, deport them , etc.  Where we see how quickly they gang up and start bad mouthing an individual.  This says more about them and their personalities rather than the person who has been their target. It is funny how some here talk about democracy and yet would love to shut up any voices who happens to be in disagreement with them.   I may say that they have been quite successful as well.  Many have left this site due to these people's immature and unethical behavior.  They remind me of the IRI's chomgh- bedast on the motor cycle or the Mubarak's chomgh- bedast on the camel, The thugs on this site just ride on their keyboards instead. Oh well ... I guess we have no choice anyway... cause JJ has no intention to prevent them from behaving so childish.

Peraonal attacks are tolerated.

IC has become a personal website rather than a public website.  Some members’ blog are featured daily and other people’s blogs do not get featured.  Some people can racially attack others but others cannot.  Jahan Khalili was banned without notice to him.  A dozen of people have left IC because of lynching groupie who keep saying: “report them,” “deport them,” “find out where they work, call their place of employment,” etc.  Personal attacks especially on kwon people keeps continuing while IC Admin is aware of the problem.

Others Missing in Action

I have not seen Rea for a while. She is not the type that gets banned.

Mash Ghasem/Houshang Tareh Gol / Siamak Asadian is probably taking some time off. His recent blogs about his beliefs were getting too intense.

The other one that I miss is Virgin Goth. She was very original in her weird way!

I hope Shazde is back soon. He is one of a kind.

OK.............There're things that we do know and we are not willing to publicize..........so.............I too hope that this chronic issue will be someday solved.............I'm all for a disciplinary action in order to keep the community regulated..............there's nothing wrong with blocking a member or deleting a comment....................However, I've always raised the question of universality of disciplinary action and unbiased judgment. I've enjoyed this site for so many years, since the time that there was no membership per se.............and I've seen so many extraditions and restorations.........If we had a more systematic administration, the revolving door at the IC would've been turning slower................Hopefully some day that will happen............and remember it's always easier to be a critic, than a director.
