Kaustsky was a lousy politician but an amazingly great historian. His book on the history of Christianity has long been considered a classic amongst all serious histoirans. For someone like yourself who hasn't even read one of his historical works it' buggles the mind how you could dismiss his entire works in  just two lines. Only in America.
