I got this poem from a friend of Iranian.com. I don't know who is this person yet But want to share this beautiful poem with all of you and show him/her my regards! Thanks to this anonymous friend.

is from Khayyam.

by Souri on Fri Oct 31, 2008 06:50 PM PDTI had no idea. I recieved the email "as it" like I posted here. No explanation was given and I don't know the sender. Usually I do not reply to the people whom I don't know.
As you may noticed, a friend asked if it was for "Jazani" and I replied "I believe so"....What the words " believe so" sound for you ? For me, it means : perhaps, but not really sure ! I am as confused as you are, dear.
If I had a mean to retract this, believe me I would do it. But Thanks for the suggestion.

by Ali P. on Fri Oct 31, 2008 06:36 PM PDTDear:
You posted this.
If it is for Bijan Jazani, say so.
If it is not, retract.
There are people, like me, who are confused out there.
Yours,

by Souri on Fri Oct 31, 2008 04:45 PM PDTThis beautiful poem is (I believe) from Forough, but I don't remember it's name and from what book. Would you please kindly provide the name of this poem (and eventually the poet, if not Forough Farrokhzaad) ? Thanks a lot.
Mohem nist 7: Thank you
by Souri on Fri Oct 31, 2008 04:36 PM PDTI knew already the name of the poet, I omitted it deliberately because as I mentioned before, I did not know who and why that person sent it for me (as a friend of Iranian.com)
But, I was confused about who was the " Bijan" en question. Thanks for the information, however neither the sender nor Mr. Rakhshani haven't precised who was the subject of this beautiful poem.

7 (not verified)Fri Oct 31, 2008 02:37 PM PDT

Orang jaan, thank you
by Souri on Fri Oct 31, 2008 10:46 AM PDTBijan Jazani was a political resistant of the Shah's era . He was killed by Savak in April 1975 on the "Siahkal" hills. He was originally a Toudeh'y but the " fedaeyan Khalgh" insist to say he was a " fedaee"....no matter which ideology he believed in really, he is a real hero and a child of Iran.
Here are some of his works :
Bijan Jazani's BooksFor more information visit: //www.fadaian-minority.org/english/home.html More informaation ://www.fadaian-minority.org/english/home.html he is buried in block 33 and not block 38
