Darya is the best, I agree.
by Not Anonymous (not verified) on Sat Aug 09, 2008 12:37 PM PDTDarya is the best, I agree. You might try Restaurant Javan for the Chengeh (sp?) Kabob; it's the best in town. Don't order their koobideh or barg; just changeh.

Shamshiri doesn't have good
by AnonymousTheMrs (not verified) on Fri Aug 08, 2008 03:26 PM PDTShamshiri doesn't have good service. At least, the few times I happened to go there were all disasterous. Javan is usually blasting the AC but the khoreshs are great. Darya Kenar in Rolling Hills is good. And of course...the legendary Rafi in Glendale. If you like Asheh Jo, kookoo, try the place on Westwood next to Borders. It's a little coffee shop.
Darya, Shamshiri
by Jahanshah Javid on Fri Aug 08, 2008 02:33 PM PDTIf you are in Santa Monica, try Darya (12130 Santa Monica Blvd) or Shamshiri (1712 Westwood Blvd).
Hungry in LA?
by Azarin at lunchtime (not verified) on Fri Aug 08, 2008 12:02 PM PDTMaybe we could set a date for all iranian.comers to meet at the best voted chelokababi of LA!
I live in Valley and my favorite one is Darband, but I think there are a few great ones in Westwood like Shamshiri or Shahrzad.
