You may know that My Way is inspired by a French song which  Paul Anka wrote new lyrics for the english-speaking public.

I tried to translate original French lyric because English lyric has completly changed the story which is magnific but I'm not very god in English, I let you improve it.

Your version is realy what I expected and the most near the original version.

as anecdot, Valerie Francois did this song for his lover France Gale (a famous singer too) just  before they stop their relationship.

I like the French version so much more. Maybe because it is closer to the original inspiration. And I do hate Sinatra, I think he is a pathetic singer whose Mafioso friends got him started. The song is about a relationship gone cold. To traqnslate, one must keep the duple meter of the original verse. Here is my translation:

I wake up and

I'm not the only one who uses an Alias in the site, yourself you are using Yana is-it your name or not, it is not important.

Using alias is not new, in the past several writer and poets did it like Fernando Pessoa per example: //www.poets.org/poet.php/prmPID/752 . Many people attach a name to a style and are not ready to undrestand complexity.

You are kind about my English level, I live in France and my English is more at a business level than an artisitic level.

Of course Sinatra's voice is better but lyric is better in French version and it was my purpos.

Claude François has been the first signer. Another singer, Michel Sardou song it also and he has a better voice, you have it here:

Hi Troneg ( btw, is this your first name and if so what does it mean and how do you prononce it?)

Frank is GOD and with respeect to you'r French singer, Franky does a better job.  His voice is just out of this world, I wish I was alive when he performed and was on his high horse :)
