The problem is that the IR

by hirre on

The problem is that the IR has constantly said in public that the sanctions are not affecting the country. This is very stupid, because people will think: "if sanctions are not affecting us, why is the situation so bad then?"...

The government should have used the sanctions as a way to demonstrate that the west is evil, I think millions of iranians would have bought it if they used the west as the source of the economical problem. But instead they say the west isn't causing any economical problem, and that will turn the attention to domestic source of problems...

If only those reside comfortably in the US or other parts of the world would admit that fact and quit criticizing it for everything and anything that goes wrong in the world.

No, they are not

They clearly state that they believe the sanctions to be the primary reason for the economic situation in Iran, so in this case I don't find Fox News absurd.

More importantly though, there is, and always has been, more than enough money in Iran to feed every single person - US-sanctions or not. The only thing absurd is IRIs extreme love for everything not Iranian:

Fox News is absurd

And of course they neglected to mention that it is the US that is primarily responsible for any hardship ("we are starving, we are hungry") being endured by the average Iranian, much as it is the US that is responsible for any hardship being endured by Cubans.  Yes, American Imperialism at work.
