National Geographic Channel will begin airing a new series of documentaries in 12 parts "National Geographic's Most Incredible Photos" starting with Iranian renowned photographer Reza Deghati's work on the late Afghan resistance chief, Ahmad Shah Massoud. This first documentary will be aired on Tuesday December 22, 8 p.m. est. on National Geographic's US channel and later on its International Channel.
This Series of documentaries will portrait 12 photos, and 12 photographers whose work has had important impacts on our modern history.
First part will be on Photographer Reza and his legendary portrait of the famous Afghan leader, Ahmad Shah Massoud who fought against the Soviet invadrs in the eighties and then agaisnt the Taliban and Alqaeda in the ninties, assassinated two days before 9/11.
