After all the hoopla about team melli's failure to qualify for WC is over people will begin to realize the inevitable....Team melli needs an infusion of young and talented players. Forget Mahdavikia, Hashemian, Karimi, or even Nekounam who at 30 years of age is nearing the end of his carreer. Just how long do you think his surgically repaired knee is going to hold up? Let's start planning for 2012 WC in Brazil!

First half great, 2nd half ran out of gas again and looked flat footed. The substitute in the 2nd half was a disastrous and bad luck (he lasted 3 mins.)

Looked much better than SA game... Mahdavkina is getting too old and the speed is gone. still smart player

Iran was the better team but without Nekounam - still we did not have a finisher..

Shojaei had a good game , but enough of this diving - kaka shirazie .

we need a big win, run the score up on UAE
