Bio

I was born in 1961 in Tehran, Iran. I moved to UK on 1998 and live in London.



I became involved in the puppet theatre production and painting in the Centre for Cultural Development of Children and Young Adults (Kanoon). I was awarded a Diploma in graphic design and painting from Behzad School of Fine Art, in Tehran in 1980. After Iran revolution I passed the exam to enrol at Azad university of Tehran but was not accepted after admitting that I have never practice Islamic daily pray. Later I took private lessons with Manuchehr Motabar and Saeed Shahlapoorwhile working professionally as a painter and designer. 
I began my work as a painter, graphic designer, jewellery designer, costume and puppet designer and art director in Iran from 1979. I also undertook several interior design projects and taught art and craft to children aged 3-16 years old.
In recent years I am mostly concentrating on painting, jewellery making and design and teaching art& craft to children age 3-12
I moved to UK on 1998 and live in London.
