Congressional Democrats are reportedly irked by the Obama Administration’s persistent criticism of Israel’s settlement growth. The Congressmen said it was inappropriate to pressure an ally about “domestic policies” and that instead the administration should spend more time “pressuring the Iranians to eliminate the potential of a nuclear threat from Iran.”

Yes, there's "pressure", but it's very weak
by Ostaad on Wed Jun 03, 2009 10:24 AM PDTI have scanned several publications that carry this piece, and I found this to be more like nagging than a real political pressure on Obama.
Let's not forget it's "contribution time" and the congress always goes to where the greenback is offered in exchange for favors, and who's better at this then the Zionist lobby.
The Politico has the most details about this:

As the article shows very few members have raised this point. This hardly amount to a pressure on a very popular president, especially when the right wing racits governent of Israel is openly defying the US policy. These congressmen and other Israel supporters will have a hard time justifying their support for Israel in the face of such blatant defiance which hurts the US national interests.
Remeber, the US Congress is the other occupied terriroties.
