The fact is that

All college students not only had free education, they had very cheap room and board or work in return, and they got small cash as " pool to jibbi". Many Iranians used to get government scholarships and financial assistance to study abroad. I am sure some mullahs, if not all, did get financial assistance from Pahlavi regime. Unfortunately, some of those people and mullahs were "namak nashnas" and lied and deceived people into the revolution.
