Positive vs Negative

Dear Mr. Amini, you seem to be an educated person. To be fair, the Pahlavi regime, despite mistakes and short comings, did a great deal of good for Iranians, in less than fifty years. They turned Iran to a progressive modern country, with free education, and highest standard of living in the region.

They gave equal rights and voting rights to women, and relative freedom to all, comapred to others in the region. Then Reza shah was forced to leave the country after fifteen years, exiled to South Africa, and his son was forced to leave the country for good after about three decades.

Nationalist groups who were the followers of Mosaddegh, had the best chance, during the revolution, to show their leadership, and save the country. Bazargan was the head of the new government, and  Bakhtiar was the head of army, while Khomeini and shah were out of the country, and had no power. But these two nationalists, could not cooperate with each other, and lead Iran to a better situation.

After 34 years of worse tyranny, every Iranian's priority should be to find a way to unite the peope, and save the country. As far as I know, Reza Pahlavi is doing it. Therefore, we all should spend our energy in the positive direction. Let us leave the judgement of Pahlavi era to the history.

This is like the long-standing family feud between the Hatfields and McCoys!

With the exception that one party (Reza Pahlavi) has moved on and is trying to do something positive by bringing the Regime in front of the International Court, while the other party is still fighting the decades-old grievances.

سوالی از آقای امینی

آیا شما حاضر هستید بار دیگر تن‌ به همان حکومتی در دهید که در آن مرحوم پدرتان به اتفاق مرحوم بازرگان عضویت داشتند؟

از جناب سربی هم سوالی داشتم: آیا شما سربی هستید که میگفت: عرض نکردم کارتون خرابه؟

در ضمن جناب امینی که هنوز به عنوان مورخ جز با سربی‌ها مصاحب دیگری ندارند بد نیست بدانند که هیچ رسانه معتبری از نظر قانونی موظف نیست متن مصاحبه‌ای را که با آن رسانه صورت گرفته ترخیص کند مگر به اختیار خود رسانه و یا به حکم دادگاه چون مالکیت مصاحبه فی‌ نفسه از آن رسانه است (مگر با قرار قبلی‌ با مصاحبه شونده).

آقای امینی به حد کافی‌ به عنوان تاریخ دان لطمه زده اید شما را به روح مصدق السّلطنه قسم به حقوقدان دیگر کاری نداشته باشید. 

What a waste of time

listening to this clip. Where have all  these mossadegholahis been for the past 30+ years? is the timing of all this not ironic?  ( Reza Pahlavi all of a sudden get's  more recognition and attention day by day despite the fact that he is not charesmatic and simply lacks a leadership quality).

As for Disintegeration of Iran, it  was and still is the plan. I do remember  the so called evil shah (He was evil cause he did not give folks like him more money or better jobs!)  warned people time after time about it (valy koo gooshe shenava).

This man with his knouledge and education should know better that monrachy despite it's flaws, is one of the pillars of stability and unity in Iran.  changing from monarchy to some kind of republican government (islamists, commis, secular jeffersonian or what ever that has become fashion now) will simply accelerate the disintegeration process.
